Prayer for Pastor's leadership

Putting the foot on the devil's head , that's what is required! I receivd call this morning,requesting me to talk with a 70yr old pastor about the way in which he is spending the church funds. After much prayer and listening for direction, there is somting else behind this pastor's actions, That require much prayer, not just a talk from me. Please prayer for this pastor, that he would confess,and repent.

Father, we know that each of us are held accountable for the authority you give to us on earth. We pray that You send conviction where it needs to go in this pastor's heart. Let him find no peace until he holds a candle up to his own doings, and pray that he shows the right vessel, so he can fix whatever it is, privately. Let mercy be had for this pastor, let it flow like a river over him. Give him favor and forgiveness, in Jesus' Name. Let this experience be for good, instead of for bad, and let it bring glory and honor to Your Name. Thank You for answering this prayer. Amen.
