About 'Passion' - the New Movie
The new movie 'PASSION', about the last 12 hours in the life of Jesus Christ, is a bold statement of faith from A-list star and Academy-Award winning director/producer Mel Gibson.
After years of following the Hollywood gravy train in making commercial movies with no meaning (Braveheart and The Patriot excluded), Mel has embraced God. And God has spoken through this new movie 'PASSION'. Christians, Catholics, European-Americans, Asian-Americans, Latin-Americans, Arab-Americans, Black-Americans, everybody is supporting this picture.
'PASSION' is shedding a bright beacon of light in a very cold and cruel industry. We NEED more movies that celebrate JESUS CHRIST. The Word says you cannot love this world and Jesus at the same time - it just won't work.
EVERY BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST IS SUPPORTING 'PASSION'. Congratulations again Mel on a fine movie! But more importantly, congratulations for standing up for your beliefs in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
What You Can Do To Support 'PASSION'
1) Go to the Box Office in mighty numbers;
2) Declare a fast from all secular movies that do not glorify Jesus Christ;
3) Pray for Mel;
4) Pray for 'Passion';
5) Pray for this country;
6) Pray that the persecutors in the media who HATE this film with a 'passion' come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I thought it would be great to start a prayer thread for Mel Gibson and other Christian celebrities.
Heavenly Father, I thank-you so much for saving Mel Gibson. I pray that you would help him to grow and that he would be an awesome influence on fellow celebrities and other people that he meets on a daily basis, use him in such a big way Lord. I also pray for the movie, that you would rally speak to everyone who goes to see it. Lord save people through this movie and do big things through it. Send revival!!! I pray for those persecutors in the media who HATE this film, I pray that you would turn their hearts and that you would save them Lord. Let them know that you exist and that you love them. Use this movie in a big way Lord!!
I also left up the many other Christian celebrities who are in the media esp those who have slipped, I pray that they would not let their light go out. I pray that they would be a massive influence and that they wouldn't let fame and fortune go to their heads. Use them in a big way Lord. I pray that you would bring those who have slipped back to their first love, eps britney spears, if she was ever saved in the first place, i pray that you would call her back out of all the porn and secularism. Call her home Lord. In your name we ask this, Amen

I agree with this prayer in Jesus name. Grab hold of the entertainment industry, destroy the wickedness and turn hearts to you. make this a vehicle for proclaiming the gospel. May movies, music and tv bring glory and honour to you Jesus. Please use it to reach the lost and bring in the harvest. you are Lord of all, even Hollywood. turn it into HOLYwood, a dwelling place for the Lord most High. Just as King Asa tore down the high places of Baal worship, we tear down Hollywood with our spiritual weapons of prayer, and call on You to make it a place for your glory. Praise the Lord!
