Is the time of the end near?

I was thinking this morning about Revelations, where the battle begins. The first invasion, I believe is from the North (Russia). Didn't Russia invade Afghanistan in the early '80s and had to retreat?

Also the Bible talks about when the fig tree drops her leaves. I think this was referring to Israel as being the fig tree, which became a state around 1947.

Signs and wonders--a great outpouring of knowledge. Education is advancing so quickly, and even more so now with the advent of the Internet. You can research just about anything from the comfort of you own home.

Old men will prophesy and young men will dream dreams? Know any young or old men? Ask them what they think and you just might be surprised.

Is it only in our Church or are men being attacked elsewhere? In our Church since September of last year (2003) there has been an increase of family and marital problems, of job lay-offs and financial problems, of sickness and diseases. I see the hand of the Lord moving swiftly to correct these situations, and edify and build up and strengthen these men so that they can step up to the plate and be the heads of their families the way Jesus intended for them to be. This of course in preparation for the final return of our Lord and Saviour. He will come back to be the head of the Church, the body of Christ. Any other thoughts?

yes we know not the day or the hour Jesus will return so be ready at all times through praying and reading your word and wanting more than ever to hear and know the Holy Spirits voice in your life all will be well when we all do this

I agree with you. So much is happening here late. The number of marriages falling apart is astronomical. Children are smarter than when we were children. We seem to be moving more to a secular society which is very sad. The world seems to be getting worse and satan is destroying many families.

We cannot know the day or hour but we are commanded to know the seasons and the signs of the end!

Matt 16:1Some Pharisees and Sadducees were on him again, pressing him to prove himself to them. 2He told them, "You have a saying that goes, "Red sky at night, sailor's delight; 3red sky at morning, sailors take warning.' You find it easy enough to forecast the weather--why can't you read the signs of the times?

And in Matt 24 and other verses, Jesus tells us the signs to watch for. Why? SO WE WILL SEE THE SIGNS and know His return is near, even at the door!

Maranatha!!
