Fear of relationships

My daughter Cindy is 21, and a domestic violence survivor - she was married 1-1/2 years to a man who became physically violent, and she has since divorced him. She has been in counseling with our pastor, and is doing well.

Cindy has been communicating with Dan, a friend from high school who is in the Air Force, and based two states away. Dan was home on leave in December, and their relationship blossomed into more, and they were together as much as possible. Cindy told Dan that she loved him.

Since returning to base, Dan has been incommunicative, and last night told Cindy it was because she told him that she loved him. He said he doesn't want a long-distance relationship, and that he is not happy she told him that she loved him.

Cindy is very hurt. Dan's parents had him when they were teenagers mom 14 and dad 17. Please pray that God would bring Dan to salvation, and heal him of his fear of relationships. He also has night terrors and needs healing from those.

Pray that God will heal Cindy's hurts and if Dan is not the man for her, lead her to the man of God that he has for her. Cindy is a very loving giving young woman and needs God to guide her to the man who will love her the way she deserves to be loved.

If God gives you insight, feel free to pray in whatever way he leads you.

Heavenly Father move upon Dans' heart to recieve Jesus asSavoiur and Lord of his life and heal him of his fears. comfort Cindy and let her know that you ,God are in conrol and strengthen her Lord. in Jesus name amen
