My husband let me know this morning that he does want a divorce and there is no chance of us getting back together. I have stood by my husband through job changes, affairs, and the normal bumps in marriage. The thought that it truly might be over is almost to much to bare. I know that God believes in families and wants then to prevail. My husband has made so many changes in his life and has become a different person. Is it possible for this to be saved? Can his heart be healed? Or do I let go and file? I am so lost yet feel comfort finding and reaching out to this site. Please, Please pray for guidence and strength for my family. I know that my husband has turned his heart off to God. I am lost and really don't even know what to pray for anymore.......Shannon

Shannon - There are so many of us in your situation. If you want the marriage, do not lose hope. For what God has joined together, let no one separate. Remember, God HATES divorce. My husband of 14 years left me and filed for legal separation on November 20th. It devestated both me and our son. I have been praying and others have been praying for me as well. I believe the Lord will change this situation around and will bring my husband home.
Father God - I lift Shannon and her husband to you. Father please soften her husband's heart toward his wife and fill him with the desire to want to return to the wife of his youth. Father, please wrap your loving arms around Shannon and comfort her in this difficult time. Father, we ask for your healing touch on this marriage as well as all of the marriages posted on this website. Father, we thank you for we know that all things are possible through you. We love you Father. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Look to Jesus Shannon.......he is the answer. Vicky

Shannon, we all feel your pain, and we understand what you're going through. Don't stand in your husband's way, but don't give up either. Let God take the situation over for you, and trust that He'll work it out. Try not to fret, although it's difficult. God has great plans for you - just look to him, and have hope
Father, we love you and thank you for the wonderful things you're going to bring into Shannon's life. Lord, help her to know that you're in control, and that you're working everything out for her good. Turn her husband's heart toward you, and then back to her, but make him a man worthy of her, Lord. We trust in you for answered prayer and we love you. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I stand in agreement with the above prayers. If you want this marriage to work, look to the lord, He does not want divorce. Don't file, if your husband really wants this let him file, but maybe he won't. Trust the Lord he does have a grand plan for you.
