Husband having an affair

My husband returned from Iraq about four months ago and told me he was having and affair and that he did'nt need me anymore. I just pray to god everyday to help my husband find his way back to his family and to be back with us again. I just don't know how could this have happened to us being apart from each other for almost eight months I thought it should have made us stronger.

Lord please comfort this hurting wife, she needs You so badly now. We know how You hate separation and I know You are weeping with her, You see every tear she cries and they are all so precious to You.
Please give her the strength and faith to bring her husband to You every day in prayer. Help her to forgive from her heart all the wrong he has done. Give her love for him, so much love that forgives even the most painful wrongs that have been done to her. Help her to forgive him with no resentment or accusations, that there be no trace of these things at all left in her heart. Heal her pain and show her how beautiful You have made her, and how much she is loved.
Lord please be firm with Raylene's husband. Take him and convince him of his sin. That the path he is on now will not lead to happiness, but to destruction. Let him be confronted with his sin, let it be before him every time he tries to sleep. Give him no peace. Let him turn away from this woman he is seeing, and seek true forgiveness. Please convict him deep in his soul to honour his marriage covenant with Raylene and You. Increase the love he has for Raylene 30 fold. Let him ache to be with her and his family again. Touch the woman he has been seeing too Lord, and convince her too of her sin.
I stand together with Raylene for the restoration of her marriage. It shall be done by our Father in heaven, and it shall be even better and more secure than it ever was before.

Oh Raylene I so do feel for you. I too am the victim of my spouse having an affair and leaving me. Keep your eyes towards Jesus. He is the answer.

Oh Most Gracious Heavenly Father, I come before you this evening and I humbly ask for your divine intervention in this situation. Father soften this man's heart and fill him with the desires to return to the wife of his youth. Father I ask for a hedge of thorns between this man and the other woman. Father do not give either a peace. Father convict both of them and bring both of them to repentence. Father I thank you for hearing our prayers. In Christ Jesus name I pray, Amen

God I haven't been in this persons shoes and I'm sure she is filled with anger because that would be my first reaction. Please help her through this and guide her amen

Thanks to God for reading my heartache Vicky42. I know what you are also going through also but, God Almighty is here for us to hear our prayers. So hang in there and keep up the faith because God is listening and he can take the pain away. I also pray for you also.

Father, I lift Raylene up to you now and ask you to comfort her heart and soul. Father, show her husband the right way for him to live, and turn his heart toward you, and then toward her. Fill her with your hope, God, and bring her peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I bring this hurting sister before You. Pour Your love into her heart and let her feel Your love for her in a very real way. Be her "Balm of Gilead" even as You were mine. You have experienced pain and betrayal when those You loved and taught through Jesus' life on life left Him and Your heart breaks for her. Keep her very close to You. Give her strength and a clear mind and wisdom to continue to do what is right and pleasing before You so that her prayers will not be hindered. Help her to know and remember that Satan wants people to have anger, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness in their hearts so that he can come in and keep their hearts from being pure to glorify You. I ask You in Jesus' name to rebuke and bind the evil one from influencing her husband's heart and mind. Cause him and the other woman to feel more and more uncomfortable, dissatisfied, miserable every moment they are together and for all the time he stays away from his wife and family. Turn the adulterous relationship into a hornet's nest; not because we want vengeance but because this is the work of the evil one and as believers and children of a holy God, we are not to advance the work and kingdom of the evil one. Make every word, conversation they have , every thoughts of each other, every activity they do together to cause them to be agitated with each other until they feel totally replushed with each other and never want to have anything to do with each other ever again. Release your Holy Spirit to hover over this man to draw him back to You in brokenness and repentance over what he had done. Cause him to see the hurt and pain he caused his wife that he will weep and be filled with shame as Your Spirit plant in him the Spirit of judgement and fire. Heal this marriage for the glory of Your name.

Dear sister, continue to seek the Lord's face and strength until He turn the situation around. DO NOT return evil for evil but do good. Keep praying for blesssings for both of them as God promised that we will inherit a blessing when we pray for those who hurt us. Soak yourself in God's love - the more you do that, the stronger you will be and will be able to do what is right. This way, God will be able to work mightily because no sins hinder our prayers. He loves you and will never leave or forsake you. Many wives and betrayed women have found Jesus faithful, and He can do the same for you. Love
