I live 29 miles from my job. I own two vehicles. Old vehicles. One just died the other day and my old pickup is ready to die any day. They are far past repair. The car needs a new engine and the truck, well, it is just wore out and sooo cold to drive in. I live in the West Elk Mountains of Colorado and we are having the worst winter in 20 years. The cost to drive has increased dramatically. I need a vehicle. I have never borrowed from a bank to buy a vehicle since 1975. Right now I am tempted to. I am torn with that idea. But, I need a vehicle. One that will go good on snow and ice and has good gas milage and does not burn oil or is cold. Not an ugly one. Both my vehicles are ugly. One is an 88 Festiva, the other is a 75 Jeep J10 Pickup. Rusty, dented, pitted and cold, and burn and leak oil. I figure the Lord won't mind me asking for a nice looking vehicle. And, since I live in a rural area, a four wheel drive would be nice. Today is February 8, 2004. I pray I will not be without a way to work. I pray the Lord will honor my desires for a good looking four wheel drive vehicle. Thank you Lord for hearing my heart on this matter fand thank you for all those who will read this and pray with me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Ok. My other request. I just got transferred to our warehouse and it is a 29 mile drive one way. I'm the oldest person there at age 53 and the lowest paid. There are 7 of us at this job. I've been there longer that three of them. The company just put me on loan to the warehouse, but the warehouse says I'm there permantly but they can't raise my pay because the plant I am on loan from say I'm still theirs. I feel ignored even though I have voiced my concern. They all make at least two dollars more on the hour than I do. I feel bad about this because what I'm hearing is that my pay is frozen when all around me people are getting raises. I make $10.10 an hour and I have a college degree. Pray for me that I will be raise up in pay soon in Jesus's name AMen.

Father, please arrange a vehicle for Joe. A nice one that will last a good long time. Also, Father, Joe is in need of favor with the people who employ him. He needs a raise and he needs enough of a raise to compensate for the lengthy commute to and from work plus a good amount extra just because. AMEN!

Hey Joe, I'm from Colorado also, and I also need a car.
My 20 year old chevy bit the dust last year, and I ended up selling it to a junk yard, and I havent the money to get a new one.NO JOB
my neighbor lets me use his once in awhile , but like you I want a safe clean reliable car! I dont know how many accidents I almost got into with my last car, since it would always die on me in traffic.
So pray for me, and I will pray for you!
God bless, GG

Hello,
Greetings to you in Jesus' sweet name. When I read your prayer request for a car then I was really concerned about you. It is important to have reliable transportation to get to work. And especially when it is cold weather. I pray God will open up the door for you to get a good reliable car at a good price. I think if I were you I would get a loan from the bank if I could at a low payment since you have to have a car to get back and forth to work. But let God lead you. Don't do anything that someone suggest unless you first clear it with God because He knows the future man does not. You must be led by the Holy Spirit. But that is what I would do if it was God's will for me unless God moves on someone to give you a car. I also pray for your raise. I have been in places that I could not get anything done about my situation. One party wouldn't let go and the other party wouldn't give me my blessings. So I know how you feel. You do deserve as much pay if you are doing the same amount of work. God is the only one that can move for you. Perhaps talking to the job that loaned you out would help later. One question you may consider is are you paying your tithing. If you are paying your tithing then God can move for you in your affairs of life. God can move for you all kinds of ways if you are giving Him what He commands us too. I want you to know I am concerned about you and wish all your blessings will come to you and God does too. I wish you a car and I wish you a raise. God bless you. Let me know if you will when you get a car I would really like to hear about it.
