I am an old Marine.
Yes I come here often
Yes I know this is a prayer board
Yes I was in Vietnam.
Yes I do love my country.
No I have never once protested.
Yes I do vote.
I am married to the same woman.
I have children.
I pay my taxes.
I try and not bother to many people.

I accepted Jesus in my life and that changed a lot.

I am upset with John Kerry.
I know we need to pray for him.

Here are some pictures so you will understand Why.
We really need to pray for this man to find Jesus.

Kerry ran for election to the U.S. House in 1972 during which he found it necessary to suppress reproduction of the cover picture appearing on his own book, The New Soldier. His political opponent pointed out that it depicted several unkempt youths crudely handling an upside down American flag to mock the famous photo of the U.S. Marines at Iwo Jima.

The Hebrew word here rendered "hypocrite" rather means the "godless" or
"profane," as it is rendered in Jer. 23:11, i.e., polluted with crimes.

The metals he is throwing were not his. He had hundreds of Vietnam Vets throw their treasured medals but he never threw his. His metals hang on the wall in his office for all to see.

On April 23, 1971, Kerry led members of VVAW in a protest during which they threw their medals and ribbons over a fence in front of the U.S. Capitol.

I think of all the young men he lied to. It just breaks my heart to see such hyprocrisy

If there ever was a liar it is him.

The very medals he said he was throwing away he is now asking us to elect him president for.

John Kerry's Great war record the original 90 day wonder.

November 17, 1968:
Kerry arrives in Vietnam, where he is given command of Swift boat No. 44, operating in the Mekong Delta.

December 2, 1968:
Only two weeks on duty
Kerry gets his first taste of combat, and is wounded in the arm. He is awarded a Purple Heart.
The wound required no hospitalization. It was so small it did not even require a bandaid. He got almost 30 days rest. Sources have emailed me and said Kerry almost shot himself. It was not enemy fire but flack from his own weapon that scrached his arm. Emails told me his commanding officer did not want him to have it.

January, 1969:
30 days later, he has only been on duty for two weeks
Kerry takes command of a new Swift boat,

February 20, 1969:
About 45 days of actual duty
Kerry is wounded again, taking shrapnel in the left thigh or buttock, after a gunboat battle. He is awarded a second Purple Heart. The wound was so small the medic said it did not require a band-aid again. It was less than the size of a small splinter. I was told his immediate commanding officer turned his request for a purple heart down. He waited and reapplied for medal to a man who had not seen the wound.
The wound required no hospitalization .

February 28, 1969:
One week later, he will serve 15 more days of active duty
Kerry and his boat crew, coming under attack while patroling in the Mekong Delta, decide to counterattack. Kerry leaves his boat, pursues a Viet Cong fighter into a small hut, kills him, and retreives a rocket launcher. He is awarded a Silver Star. Again he was alone. No one really saw what he did. People said Kerrys account is different from what they saw.
He got almost the whole week off because of the silver star.

I wonder if this is why he has been protesting Vietnam for 30 years.
Does he feel guilty for murdering that man.
Was it necessary after the battle was over to run into a hut and kill a wounded man. I wonder because no one saw him kill the man if Kerry really is having nightmares over what he had done. When he called us marines murders later with Jane Fonda was he really calling himself one.

March 13, 1969:
Only two weeks later. And only one week back on duty
A mine detonates near Kerry's boat, wounding him in the right arm. He is awarded a third Purple Heart. Sources said he shot at the mine and again it was his own doing. He is also awarded a Bronze Star for pulling a crew member, who had fallen overboard, back on the boat. Kerry said they were under fire but the other officers on the boats right next to them said they were not under fire.

Back on sick leave he applied for discharge. He never went back.

Every one in Vietnam knew that according to Navy rules, sailors that have been wounded three times in combat are eligible to be transfered to the U.S. for noncombat duty. Kerry is transferred to desk duty in Brooklyn, NY. He arrived in April 1969

Understand John Kerry's whole war record is only 4 months long of which he got 5 weeks off because wounds that required no real hospitalization.

In the Marine Corp. we called those men sickbay commando's.
So was John Kerry a war hero or a sickbay commando, only John Kerry knows.

In this marines eyes John Kerry was the original 90 day wonder.
And like some men they make those 90 days something to cry about.

He served:
1: worked about 15 days
2: then 30 days off
3: worked about 45 day
4: then 7 days off for silver star
5: worked about 15 more days
6: Then 7 days off
7: worked about 7 more days
8: Went home
Instead of being proud of America he has tried to destroy her.
This 90 day adventure does not make him ready for Comander and Chief.

If that is the case every marine in combat should be running for president.

Heavenly Father we pray for this man.
He wants to lead our country so I pray for wisdom and love and peace.
Above all Father I pray John Kerry finds you as his Lord and savior.
Father I look forward to the day when I can see and know he is a brother in Jesus Christ.
Let him desire you as much as he desires to be president.
Let him fight as hard for You as he does politics.
We pray all of this in the wonderful name of Jesus.

Come on you guys it says pray for the leaders of the land.

This is what this board is all about.

Father, I bring John Kerry before You for Salvation! Father, this man would take over from George W. Bush as President yet he does not know You!

Sir, whether he is elected President or Not I ask for his Salvation.

Show him the Value of Repentance and Salvation in Jesus! Make him Hungry and Desperate for the things of God! Hold his feet over the fires of hell and show him the hounds of hell that are waiting to rend his soul.

Father, do what ever is necessary to lead him to Salvation. Holy Spirit, I hand John Kerry over to You and release him to You for his Salvation.

Thank You Father for leading this Nation in this year of election chaos. Thank You for placing a man of integrity in the Office of President.

Lord I stand with my brothers and sisters and I pray for the country of America, that a righteous man will come to the office of president. That Your truths and Your standards will be raised over this land. We declare in the heavenlies that Jesus reigns. He is the true ruler of America. He is the one who is enthroned on high and every knee shall bow to Him and to Him alone. I pray Lord that the American people will know what it is to seek You and Your kingdom.

Test for Kerry as contest gets dirty

The campaign of US senator John Kerry, the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination, has faced its first media storm with a website alleging that he had asked a woman to leave the country for personal reasons.

Senator Kerry's campaign did not respond to the allegation on the Drudge Report, a news tipster, most famous for disclosing that president Bill Clinton had an affair with intern Monica Lewinsky.

The report, published on Thursday, caused a frenzy of anguish among grassroots party activists just a day after it seemed that Senator Kerry had been virtually crowned as the nominee following a remarkably swift and benign campaign.

The report also alleged that General Wesley Clark, who bowed out of the race on Wednesday, told reporters that "Kerry will implode over an intern issue".

Two hours after the report appeared on the internet, General Clark's campaign rushed to his aid, indicating that the retired general would endorse Senator Kerry.

Several prominent news organisations in Washington have been investigating the rumours in recent days.
The Drudge Report said the allegation explained why Howard Dean, the former frontrunner, was now vowing to fight on, having earlier pledged to bow out if he lost the next major contest on Tuesday.

Senator Kerry took the lead in the race for the nomination three weeks ago when he won the first contest, the Iowa caucuses.

Since then he has won 11 out of the next 13 contests.

Yes Lord, I agree with these. We stand in the gap for him. Save, heal and deliver. Let him know that he can call upon you, that you will in no wise cast him out as he reaches out for you. Holy Spirit, draw him to the Lord. Tug at his heart, and set him free in Jesus name, amen and amen.

Father in Heaven I thank you now for the 'old marine' who started this post. I ask that you bless him and reward him richly for serving his country and fighting with honor and integrity. I realize that it is due to him, and men like him who fought for my freedom that I have the liberties that I enjoy every day.
I pray for John Kerry, Father, I pray for his salvation and that his heart be softened into repentence for his sins. I pray that he find mercy in your arms. Father, if it is your will that he be the leader of our great land, I pray desperately,Father, that he will find you before taking office and lean toward your word for the wisdom the job will require.

Former Military Colleagues: Kerry 'Unfit to Be Commander in Chief'

Hundreds of former commanders and military colleagues of presumptive Democrat nominee John Kerry are set to declare in a signed letter that he is "unfit to be commander in chief." They will do so at a press conference Tuesday in Washington.
"What is going to happen on Tuesday is an event that is really historical in dimension," John O'Neill, a Vietnam veteran who served in the Navy as a PCF (Patrol Craft Fast) boat commander, told CNSNews.com. The event, expected to draw about 25 of the letter-signers, is being organized by a newly formed group called Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

"We have 19 of 23 officers who served with [Kerry]. We have every commanding officer he ever had in Vietnam. They all signed a letter that says he is unfit to be commander in chief," O'Neill said.

O'Neill, an attorney in Houston, Texas, is no stranger to Kerry. O'Neill served in the same naval unit as Kerry and commanded Kerry's swift boat after Kerry returned to the United States.

Kerry's command of the PCF boat lasted four months and ended shortly after he received his third Purple Heart. According to naval regulations at the time, any soldier who received three Purple Hearts could request a transfer out of the combat zone.

Kerry and O'Neill engaged in a nationally televised debate in 1971 on "The ******** Cavett Show" over Kerry's allegations that many Vietnam soldiers had routinely engaged in atrocities such as raping and cutting off ears and heads of Vietnamese soldiers and citizens. Kerry was the then spokesman for the anti-war group Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

"We are going to be presenting a letter that deals with Kerry's unfitness to be commander and chief that has been signed by hundreds of swift boat sailors, including most of those who served with Kerry," O'Neill explained.

"The ranks of the people signing [the letter] range from admiral down to seaman, and they run across the entire spectrum of politics, specialties and political feelings about the Vietnam War," he added.

Among those scheduled to attend the event at the National Press Club and declare Kerry unfit for the role of commander in chief are retired Naval Rear Adm. Roy Hoffman, who was the commander of the Navy Coastal Surveillance Force, which included the swift boats on which Kerry served.

Also scheduled to be present at the event is Kerry's former commanding officer, Lt. Cmdr. Grant Hibbard. Hibbard recently questioned whether Kerry deserved the first of his three Purple Hearts that he received in Vietnam. Hibbard doubted the severity of the wound and whether it resulted from enemy fire.

"I've had thorns from a rose that were worse" than Kerry's wound for which he received a Purple Heart, Hibbard told the Boston Globe in April.

Retired Lt. Cmdr. Grant Hibbard tells the Boston Globe that he can still recall Kerry's wound, and that "it resembled a s********e from a fingernail," the paper said.

"I've had thorns from a rose that were worse," Hibbard insists.

Still, the former Navy man remembered that Kerry insisted on receiving a Purple Heart for the wound he said was incurred during a Dec. 3, 1968 skirmish with Viet Cong near Cam Ranh Bay.

"He had a little scratch on his forearm, and he was holding a piece of shrapnel," Hibbard told the Globe. "People in the office were saying, 'I don't think we got any fire,' and there is a guy holding a little piece of shrapnel in his palm."

Much to Hibbard's chagrin, Kerry persisted in his quest for a war decoration for the scratch.

"I finally said, 'OK, if that's what happened ... do whatever you want,'" Hibbard said. "After that, I don't know what happened. Obviously, he got it, I don't know how."

Kerry's campaign refused to say whether he remains certain that his skimmer boat had come under fire or whether he recalls his superior officer raising doubts about whether he was entitled to the Purple Heart.

While a Kerry aide provided a copy of a medical report showing treatment for the wound in question, The Naval Historical Center "could not locate a copy of the original card for the incident," the Globe said.

Kerry was awarded two additional Purple Hearts for subsequent wounds that have also been described as minor. He then invoked a little-used regulation that entitled a triple Purple Heart winner to return to the United States.

Organizers are confident that Tuesday's event and the letter with hundreds of signatures would educate people about Kerry.

"It is one of the largest outpourings of concern about him being commander in chief that anybody could have in a presidential campaign, and it is by the people who know him best," O'Neill said.

'Unfit Commander in Chief'

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth maintains that Kerry's fellow Vietnam veterans are almost uniform in their disdain for his military service and anti-war protests.

"Not only a majority of the people who served with him feel that way, but a vast and overwhelming majority," O'Neill said. He added that more than "90 percent of the people contacted by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth responded to the request to sign their name, with only 12 declining to sign."

"Comrades who actually served with him, almost all of them, are opposed to him, and believe he would be an unfit commander in chief and intend to bring the truth of his actual record to the attention of the American people," O'Neill said.

He hopes the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth can reveal to the American people what he sees as Kerry's flawed character.

"In the military, loyalty between commanders and the troops serving them is a two-way street. We have here a guy that with all of us in the field, actually fighting the North Vietnamese, came home and then falsely accused all of us of war crimes at a time when the people in uniform couldn't even respond," O'Neill said.

"And he did that knowing that was a lie," he added.

'Real John Kerry'

B.G. Burkett, author of the book "Stolen Valor" and a military researcher, believes that Tuesday's event will not be dismissed easily by Kerry's campaign as a "partisan" attack.

"There are probably just as many Democrats amongst sailors who sailed swift boats as there are Republicans. What Kerry fails to realize is this has nothing to do with politics; this has to with Vietnam veterans who served, who have a beef with John Kerry's service, both during and after the war," Burkett told CNSNews.com.

"The American people do not know John Kerry, and hopefully the swift boat crews and other Vietnam veterans will make sure that the American public knows the real John Kerry," he said.

Jim Loftus of Kerry's press office referred questions about Swift Boat Veterans for Truth's event on Tuesday to spokesman David Wade. Wade did not return CNSNews.com's requests for comment.

Jehovah-Shalom, the wounds of war are often unseen and deep and this is an example of those wounds and the pain they can cause.

Jehovah-Rapha, I ask for the lives of the veterans who are in such pain from John Kerry's service and lack of service to be healed and made whole.

Jehovah-Rapha, erase the pain of viet Nam from their hearts and mind, put forgiveness and peace in the place where the pain dwells as a living entity in their lives.

Jesus, I ask for their Salvation if they are unsaved. I ask for Your comforter to go and ease the pain of the memories from this war.

Jesus, show them love and acceptance that they did not recieve when they returned home from Viet Nam.

Father, I honor them and the job they were sent to do in a land that was extremely hostile to life, a land where the enemy could be the child or sweet little old lady standing next to you, a land that was busy tearing itself apart and anyone who got in the way.

Father, my husband is a Viet Nam Veteran and from the stories he tells about his time there are chilling. He did not serve on a awift boat, his ship was one where swift boats moored to refuel and in the pictures he has of one New Years Eve when all the chicks were tied up to his ship, he always... ALWAYS... points out the one who went out the next day and did not return from the Mekong. It is this kind of memory and worse that I ask You to heal these Veterans of Lord.

Jehovah-tsidkenu, I do not know if John Kerry is a liar or traitor, that is between You and him. I am not going to vote for him based on his unsaved spiritual condition. You cannot trust someone who attacks the body of Christ just as the Vets feel you cannot trust someone with Kerry's military record.

Holy Spirit, please do whatever is necessary to bring John Kerry to Salvation in Jesus.

I stand here in the gap for him as it says in Ezekiel, Here I am Lord, send me, let me stand in the gap of the wall for the land and build up an hedge of protection around its leaders.

Father, I ask for John Kerry's Salvation.

I ask for the Salvation of our country the US of A.

I ask for the Repentance, Deliverance and Salvation of the land and the people within the land.

Father, please hear from heaven and heal my land.

Lord Jesus, first and foremost I ask the You send the Holy Spirit to John Kerry to bring him to You. Lord salvation is most important and I ask that You would guide him to Your side.

Father I also ask that You would pour out Your power and glory and guide us during this time of an upcomming election. Lord do not let the powers of this world influence this Presidential Election, but let Your power flow through the process as I believe You did in out last election. Lord You know best who is most fit to lead our country and I ask that You would put in place the man who can lead us back to You, Father the man who can make this a Godly nation once more. Lord we are in a battle like none we have ever been in before, as the enemy desires to strike down the one nation which openly stands for Your ways.
