jcangel has been banned.
He is sending threatening emails
He lied on his profile by not giving his real name
He calls himself a prophet of all Gods.
So I have decided to ban him.

I love you guys for trying to help him

Hey, everybody!! Yes, it's exciting that we're living in the End Times, but before the Lord comes back, we've got a lot of work to do. There are still MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of lost souls who need to hear the Gospel. Jesus says we need to "occupy until He comes back in glory and power". We need to preach the Gospel to as many people as we can at every opportunity that we get to share about the Good News of salvation through faith in Christ Jesus!!!!

WE know the day will come like a thief in the night, yet we should be prepared like the 5 virgins with oil.
I do pray Lord Jesus that a final harvest be reaped before your triumphant return. Father, so many of your prodigal children wander aimlessly in the darkness. Please, Abba, help your lost sheep return to the pasture. And, Father, please equip each of us with the desire, knowledge, and ability to evangelize this world.
We long for the day we can see your face, Jesus. How much greater that day will be when we can rejoice along side our friends and family.

In Jesus name,

AMEN!

What about all the horrible things happening in Iraq? Our young soldiers being beheaded? It makes me sick to watch the news, because there will inevitably be more terrible stuff reported, whether it is overseas or right here at home. Has anyone noticed the increase in child abductions and murders in the last 10 years or so?? I'm glad we will not be here when God rains down His wrath on the Earth, because it will be a terrifying moment in history.

Posted by: Frederik

I have heard that child and cat abductions are very frequent in areas where there are huge satanic groups.

I have not heard this, but it would not surprise me if it's true.

Posted by: heart

I too have noticed it. I especially notice the increase in news reporting concerning child murders and children being sexually exploited, or at least the possibility of such a thing. I pray that we take all the steps we need to take not leaving one out to make sure our children are being protected.

Hello, friends!! I truly believe that the terrible tsunami that hit all those Asian countries last weekend is another fulfillment of prophecy. There is a verse that says there will be strange signs in the heavens, and many people who are Bible scholars interpret that to mean unusual weather. Also, the Bible predicts an increase in the frequency and intensity of earthquakes, which can cause a tsunami. He's coming for us really soon, brethren!!!

Posted by: huggybob46

The terrible earthquake in Pakistan has killed thousands of people, including many children in a school where the roof collapsed. The "birth pains" are increasing in frequency and intensity.

Praise God for the coming soon of our Lord Jesus Christ to call us up to Him.

Be glad and stead fast in knowing God declares He is not slack concerning this return, as He wants to give all people a chance to accept Salvation in God's Grace thru Jesus Christ!!!

Posted by: huggybob46

Yes, I am definitely glad that the return of the Lord is imminent, but we still have lots of people all around us who need to hear the Gospel. We need to witness at every opportunity. God said in His Word that we need to "occupy until He comes", and that means we need to be fulfilling the Great Commission to go into all the World and spread the Good News!!

Posted by: Christian Commando

I'm personally praying people are right that God is planning a tremendous revival during these last days. Statistics show too few of the "Body" are active in that Commission.

God Bless!!

I believe that the time is almost near. There are so many things happening around us that I feel are signs of the end. If any of you get a chance, you can get of the "Left Behind" Website to get an idea of where we are headed and the sign of our times. As for myself, I can't wait for our Lord to come and then we can ALL be together to worship him forever. Amen!

it makes me think of something I read another website by Todd Strandberg a few weeks back

12 Sept

Hope for the Birth Pang Holdouts

It is very distressing to receive email from people who bristle at the idea that the calamities of the past few years could be a warning from God. It's obvious that many people don't want anything to do with God, and Hurricane Katrina is just one more irritation point for them.

What seems to make them the most angry is the immediate threat imposed by the signs of the time. All that scary stuff in the Book of Revelation is fine with them as long it doesn't manifest itself in today's headlines.

Well, I've got more bad news for them. Jesus indicated that as we get closer to the tribulation hour, disasters will increase with intensity. Unless the rapture is very near, we should expect a very turbulent future.

Because the warning signs are intended to wake up people to the truth of their fallen state, the birth pangs offer an opportunity of hope for the folks still unconvinced. At some point, an open-minded person needs to realize that the frequency of these disasters is not just purely accidental, and they need to turn to the Lord Jesus for salvation.

I've already decided that a supernatural entity is involved in this process. All of those who are still skeptics need to draw their own line where they, too, must admit the end times are drawing near.

Some people write me to argue that the Black Death (1330-40 AD) and the great Galveston hurricane of 1900 invalidated birth pangs. When Jesus mentioned the precursors to His return, He wasn't citing calamities that had never happened before. Disasters like earthquakes, war, floods, and hurricanes have been around since the fall of Adam and Eve.

The birth pangs we should be looking for are normally record-setting events. When you read reports of the most "most deadly tsunami in recorded history" and the "most destructive Atlantic hurricane" you know they're talking about our generation.

There is a danger in waiting too long to be convinced of the truth. Because the rapture is predicted to be a surprise, most people will be caught off guard by its occurrence. In order to be part of the fortunate few, a person needs to wisely weigh the evidence. On judgment day, I don't believe anyone will be able to say that God didn't provide them with enough clues.

"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36).

Billiefan, thanks for an excellent post. I copied/pasted it and sent it in an email to many of my unsaved friends and relatives. Please pray they will be open to the Gospel message, and receive Jesus before it's too late. Thanks!!!

Bob

An interesting and informative post....thanks for sharing it. I know many people who bristle at any mention that all the calamities of the past few years may be a warning from God. in fact most of my family, neighbors and friends are this way....they brush it off saying things like "this is just another cycle of bad weather" or "its global warming causing all this with the weather" etc. From my experience only an occasional person will admit that whats going on may be signs that we are near the end of the age. How sad that so many would rather ignore the signs and live in denial. I pray they will see the truth before its too late.

Keep in mind tho people, it is not the signs in Revelation that give us an idea of how close Jesus' return is, it's the signs Jesus gave in the Books of the 4 Gospels- Matt. 24:1-51 and 25:1-13. These go along with Luke- 21:8-36.

These are the signs thathave been going on and getting worse during these "last days". That refered to in Revelation, if pay close attention to the last part of Chap. 4, are going into the Tribulation Period, of which the antichrist is reigning over.

This has not happened yet. He is alive and well right now, but as seen in the references I gave, Christ notes that a calling of the "Church"- Body of Christ, happens shortly after the antichrist - "man of perdition", is revealed.

this hasn't happened yet. God Bless!!

I was on another message board the other day, and one of the moderators there doesn't even believe in the Rapture, mostly because the word "rapture" was not used to describe the catching away of the saints until some time in the 18th century. Does anyone have any more knowledge of Church history, and/or whether or not this man's opinion about no rapture holds any water???

It seems that, over the past 15 years or so, Hollywood will take any and every opportunity to bash Christianity, and make us Christians look like a bunch of raving lunatics, or idiots. I just got an email from a friend of mine urging people to email the chairman of NBC to complain about an upcoming episode of Will and Grace that makes a mockery of the Crucifixion. But, the Bible says that we will be hated because of Who we represent. That is becoming more and more apparent every day.

Posted by: huggybob46

I was posting on another message board the other day, and this one lady had a great way of describing the increase in the number of "birth pangs". She said it's similar to an orchestra playing a classical piece which starts out softly, and continually builds to a loud crescendo. Anyway, there are just SO many things in the news that point to the soon return of Jesus. I just hope it's REAL soon, because I'm so tired of this evil world that we live in.

Posted by: rainbow788

Wow, that is a great way of describing the "birth pangs" this world is experiencing. Its hard to believe that with all that is going on, so many are blind to the truth, including many Christians. Another thing I don't understand is why this does not seem to be discussed in church or on many Christian television broadcasts? I live in Canada and only get one channel that has any Christian programs and the only program I have seen that discusses Bible prophecy and what is going on right now in any depth is Dr Jack Van Impe. I started watching his program a couple years ago and ordered some of his videos which were helpful. But I feel that people need to hear this in church, not just on TV and not everyone watches these TV programs.

I guess now that Iran has the capability of building nuclear warheads, they will do so as quickly as they can so they can at least TRY and carry out their threat to bomb Israel. A few of my friends think that the war in Iraq is the beginning of WWIII, and I tend to agree. And if Iran threatens Israel, you KNOW that the U.S. will get involved, because we have been allies with Israel for many years, and she needs our help now more than ever. Yep, it's getting close, folks!!
