Double Minded

I keep hearing sermons about being double minded. What is your insight on this. I know what the scriptures says. Just want some input.

Okay, its like wanting to be saved, or being pulled by God but still wanting the things of this world. Your saved, but maybe you still drink or still smoke dope, but yet you believe in Jesus. You still dabble in worldly things. Untill you surender wholly to God you are condsidered double minded, You cannot serve to masters. You either love the one and hate the other. If your not grounded and rooted in Jesus, then you will waver in faith when the storms rage, and they will. God dosent just want part of you, He wants your all!
Its like your married, but yet you
tell your wife I love you, but Im going to bed with someone else tonight.
Or your my husband, and you have this enemy, and yet, I as your wife inform you, I am JUST going to spend time with him tonight, maybe go to a movie with him or dinner. You would be outraged!
Jesus Gave HIS ALL ! He expects the same from us, whom He choose to shed His blood for! To DIE for! Hope this helps. christy
