Could you please pray for my brother-in-law based on the following scripture?
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God trhough Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25
Paul came to God, through Jesus, over twenty-five years ago. As of last August, he started studying with a group of seven people who teach cult doctrines. Their core doctrine is "the spirit of truth." They teach that "another Comforter or "another Helper," and "the Spirit of truth" metioned in Jonh 14;16&17 is not the Holy Spirit, but is in addtion to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If you and I (member of the "harlot church") don't receive this "spirit of truth" through them laying hands on us, we will be "repackaged and sent back to get this 'new truth' [as they label their doctrines] in our next life [reincarnation]."
In spite of teaching "dying to the flesh" as a major doctrine, Paul now: believes tithing is wrong (our love for God is our tithe); listens to Jimi Hendrix and other 60s and 70s rock 'n' roll; cusses, even using the F-word; drinks (and was driving while he drank--though he claims the alcohol was really watered down); treats his family with disrespect, because they won't accept his "new truth"; and even threatened to leave his family if they won't believe it. Paul says he can tell you the exact moment he died to the flesh (they also call it "Satan being extracted out of you."). And that seems to be his excuse for sinning; since he died to the flesh, nothing is wrong.
Recently, someone told us that people at his job (Boeing in Everett) saw him talking to trees(!!!). This thing is really getting freaky! A freind of my sister's, who was Paul's friend before this came down, said he thinks Paul is headed for a nervous/mental(?) breakdown. This man has done a lot of work with spiritual warfare, so Jolene (my sister) is going to get him to anoint their entire house. Pray every demon is bound and can no longer infulence my brother-in-law. The major demon is a Jezebel spirit; pray it is destroyed.
Also, pray for their five children to remain strong in the Lord: Abigail, 21; Sarah, 20; Joshua, 15; David, 13; and Anna, 11.
