Satanic Attack on Our Church

Our church has been experiencing incredible growth (both spiritually & in numbers) for the last year or so. About 3 weeks ago, the church leadership felt led (after much prayer) to break from the organization we were affiliated with and become "nondenominational". We have a beautiful building in a great location, for which the congregation has been paying for for several years (without aid from the organization). When we notified the organization that we intended to break away, they stated that they will be taking our church property and our pastor's preaching credentials. They even threatened to show up at the church and chain the doors! Our pastor has agreed to give up his credentials but we simply cannot lose everything we have built up over the last few years! The organization's lawyer even refused to become involved because he said what they are doing is wrong and he will not be a part of it! There are also 3 or 4 people in our congregation that are spreading vicious lies about our pastor and reporting these lies to the organization. We have one of the most godly, loving pastors anyone could ever hope for and it is causing incredible pain to everyone. Satan is using these people to try to destroy our church! It is one of the most intense spiritual battles I've ever witnessed. I am asking everyone to PLEASE pray for our church and our pastor. Thanks so much and God bless all of you!

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that You will bring a stronger presence of Your Spirit into this section of Your Church. We pray that the organization is blessed, until they can see nothing but blessing. We ask You to flood the congregation with joy and hope and peace and life. Father, let all curses be broken off of every mind, in Jesus' Name. Let every heart be opened to Your Spirit and every blind eye be opened to see the things that are of You. Anoint all of these ears to hear the Word and let wisdom and knowledge pour like a river throughout this organization, as well as this particular congregation in Jesus' Name. Amen.
