Lord Jesus I ask that You would come to me. Holy Spirit I ask that You would guide my every step, my every word, my every action, my every thought. Father help me to always follow the path You want me to follow, and to stand strong in faith that You will deliver the things You have shown me are comming into my life. Lord help me to know what to hold on to and what to let go of. Lord grant me wisdom and strength to do You will and grant me the ability to answer Your call upon my life. Please Lord lift me up that I may serve You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

What a beautiful picture Jerry.

I'm gonna take this opportunity to tell you how much i love this site...i stumbled on it back in November, just after my husband decided to stop contact with me. All i was looking for was something, anything in my desperation where someone could pray for my marriage. And i know that the Lord led me here.
I posted my prayer request and i was so blessed when i received so many replies full of love and understanding. Those prayers given by God, have kept me going, and been a source of so much strength to me.
The Vigils we've had, i've never looked upon myself as a Prayer Warrior...but i wanted to do my bit, even though i felt it wasn't really to anyone's advantage... what could i bring into it? But the Lord has shown me so much during the time i've been here. I have grown. I've learned. I've made so many good friends, and it really does feel like i know them...they are my family that the Lord has given me. Some days whan i feel like giving up, i read the prayer requests of others, and i realise how blessed i am, i have a beautiful daughter. I have a home, but most of all, i have Jesus. He has taught me that praying for others is a blessing, that i forget my own needs. Sometimes someone posts a little note of thanks, and i really dont mean this in arrogance, but it makes me feel so good just to think that Jesus is REALLY using me to contribute something to them. I am so blessed!

Jerry, from the depths of my heart i want to thank you sincerely for this awesome site, i know you've heard that hundreds, maybe thousands of times before, but this is really from my soul. Thankyou for listening to the Lord by starting all this up, thankyou because i have grown so much spiritually in this time.I've grown so much closer to the Lord. This site has given me HOPE!!! Bless you dear Jerry and dear Jan, dear Shawn, for all your hard work and dedication and love. Thankyou , thankyou so much.
If there is anything i can do for you anytime to help in any way, here i am. Please don't hesitate.
God bless you.In Abundance.
Carrie-Ann Theriault.

Jim???? Oh I'm so sorry, i was so busy thinking of myself there, and didn't even put in a prayer for you. Forgive me brother.

Lord Jesus, i ask You to fill Jim's soul with an even deeper longing to serve You. Fill him with a willingness to be moulded and kneaded and pruned. Thankyou that with every day that passes, he will grow more and more like You.

You see the pain and the sorrow that he feels, You see all the questions to which he has no answer. Take him to Your sanctuary Lord, where he can sit and drink in Your living water, where he can be himself and let himself go. Lord how terribly hard it is to put aside our hearts desire, and say to You, Lord, let Your will be done. That is one of the most heart shattering decisions we have ever made. We know that we need to put You in the very first place in our lives, above our spouses, and that is what Jim has done Lord, You see his willingness, You see his sincerity. Bless him Lord by turning the heart of the wife he loves so much. Turn her heart to You Lord, and back to Jim.

Bless him and provide for him, spiritually and materially. Bring him into such a close relationship with You Lord, that he can almost hear You breathing. Bless his marriage Lord, let it bring glory to Your name. Amen.

Father, thank you for your Holy Spirit. Thank you for the guiding and urging of the same. Please touch the souls here and guide throughout our respective lives. Lead us in the way YOU would have us to go. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

I thank you all for your prayers and I just want to let you know that they are being answered. At about 3pm I was hit with something that really threatened to shake my faith, and when I got home I really had to struggle with it. But I finally decided to take it fully to the Lord and seek His guidance, and almost 2 hours later I check this post and see that at the very moment you were offering these prayers for me is when I found the strength to turn it over to Jesus. Chris and Carrie-Anne I really did feel the presence of the Holy Spirit at the time you were praying for me. I hope the prayers continue because I want to be able to offer that gift of Spirit led prayer to others as they need it. Stephanie, at about the time you were praying for me I was led to open my Bible and when I did I read the following passage

Luk 17:1 And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!
Luk 17:2 It were well for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Luk 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
Luk 17:4 And if he sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Luk 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
Luk 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.
Luk 17:7 But who is there of you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say unto him, when he is come in from the field, Come straightway and sit down to meat;
Luk 17:8 and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Luk 17:9 Doth he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded?
Luk 17:10 Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which it was our duty to do.

I am asking that the Lord grant me that tiny amount of faith, that I may be able to ask for His will to be done and it will be done. That I will not waver even during the onslaught of things which the devil sends my way to try and shake me. That tiny amount of faith that I need to say no matter what I see, I will know what the Lord has planned for me and know that it will come to pass. Believe me, God is answering your prayers and I thank Him for that, and you for allowing Him to lead you.

James
