Please pray for my husband.. I have recently turned my life back over to my Maker after a couple of years of going down the wrong path.. I have tried to witness to my husband by just letting him see what a wonderful joy and blessing it is to have our Lord and Savior in our lives. He tells me that what is right for me just isnt for him.. This breaks my heart... I worry so much and I do not want it to be too late for him. Please shower him with prayer that God will convict him to be a righteouse man of God.. I love him with all my heart but I am having a hard time with the difference in our lifestyles. Blessed Jesus please help me with this...
In Christ Name

I pray the joy of the Lord will be your strength. Your husband may already be thinking negatively about your faith--because you go to church and it takes time away from him, plus he figures you think he is not measuring up to your new standard. So now, he needs to see you joyful, not pent up with worry. I am not blaming you. I know if my husband wasn't saved (I have never married), I would be worried, too. I am just going to ask God to make you so in love with and delighted with Jesus that you don't have time to focus on the worry. Your husband may already think it's a bummer you're into "religion"; my prayer is he will see something in you that makes him really hungry to know Jesus.
Father, I pray that you will be a gigantic strength to Cheryl. Fill her with such joy that she can not conatain it. Let it spill over onto her husband. Let him be so, so hungry for You, as he observes the delight she has in You. Just fill her with laughter and excitement and adoration for You, and let her love for her husband increase right along with it. Overflow her with such a hug love for him, that he can not believe it. Let her dote on him, and be there for him in every way possible that is not sin. May she be excited like a school girl on her first date, and may he be wild to know what's up with her. Cause him to fall in love with the Jesus in Cheryl. Then may he fall in love with Jesus for himself! Let her know she must win him by her behavior, not her words (1 Peter 3:1&2).
Flood Cheryl with incredible peace. May she walk with a calm and serene spirit that baffles her husband. When he shows a lack of understanding for her faith or even puts it down, give her that gentle and quiet spirit that You desire Your daughters to have. Remind her always that a soft answer turns away wrath. Let peace rest upon her like a blanket. Wrap her in peace, so it smooths every line of her face. Whenever the worry tries to take over, remind her that she should not be anxious but commit everything to You in prayer; then let the peace that passes understanding steal over her, wiping out every fearful thought (Phillipians 4:6&7). Give her a spirit of power, love and a sound mind; let no spirit of fear prevail (2 Timothy 1:7).
Thank You, Father, in Jesus name, amen. JeriRose
