Dear Jerry
Someone prophesied over me saying I'll find "acquisition" to the love and the presence of God throughout my life - what does this word "acquisition" mean exactly. Does not every child called by His Name find "acquisition" to His presence, maybe I've got the word wrong...?

To acquire something means to take it into your possession...or as in definition #2, that God and His Love and Presence will be what you gain... either way, I don't think it is a bad thing!

ACQUISI'TION, n. [L. acquisitio, from acquisitus, acquaesivi, which are given as the part. and pret. of acquiro; but quaesivi is probably from a different root.]
1. The act of acquiring; as, a man takes pleasure inthe acquisition of property, as well as in the prosession.
2. The thing acquired, or gained; as, learning is an acquisition. It is used for intellectual attainments, as well as for external things, property, or dominion; and in a good sense, denoting something estimable.

Thanks a lot for dictionary explanation! I understand now what the Word meant - it is in the line of acquiring wisdom and also I think an increase in annointing that goes hand in hand with increase in all other areas of one's life eg. wisdom, favour, prosperity etc etc - God's goodness! There is a price however - Mat 16:24, (the denying of self), but the prize is.... AWESOME
