My Daughter..the One Ive Posted Many Prayers Over...the One Who Dresses Dark...listens To Icp...is 15......i Ask Her About Her Relationship With God...does She Know Him...does She Love Him....yes She Answers To All....but When I Come Down On Her Heavy About The Appearance She Is Presenting And The Activities She Is Partaking In...she Comes Of The Wall With This.....she Claims I Have Predestined Her For Satan....because Her First,middle And Last Name Are All 6 Letters Long...***...now She Says This Joking..but Her Friends Think Its Cool And Its Not Setting Well With Me.....somebody On The Outside Give Me Some Insight Please!

Father, in Jesus Name, I pray for this parent, Lord have your way by showing yourself real in this person's life. Give her the strenghth to endure the worldliness around us daily. I pray for hope this mother needs that only you can give when it comes to our precious children. Lord, reveal your tough love and I pray for your perfect enduring love for this family. I pray your peace, joy and unconditional perfect love to flow thru this family..so that no matter what..You will be revealed in their lives and they will be a testimony to those around them. In Jesus Name, amen.

Hey, you know the saying - "train up a child in the way he should go, then he will come back to it." I believe when our kids become teens, they forget where they came from and it almost seems like what we've shown them goes out the window..Yet, I know our children come back to the "way"...they were taught. This is a promise from the Lord. My 22 yr old, who is about to be a dad in few more months..is going to find himself repeating my words which came from my mother, etc..I can't wait! I'm looking forward to it..Praise the Lord! Hey, dont' be moved by the words and looks of your child..just know in your heart you are praying for her and someday -- and God is bigger..and able to do what He promised in your daughter..yes, its so painful and yes, our children make us want to "hang them on the clothesline by their necks"...but we love them and only have them for a short time then they are on their own to make decisions..mistakes, etc..just like us...(by the way, i'm a single mom of 4 (and then some...) ages 22, 17, 14, and 6...plus my 37 yr old brother who acts like he's 15, 44 year old ex boyfriend -who is a runner from any kind of committment...the "men" my life..ya-well God is the only one who understands)-- Your daughter will be fine and so will you..Stay strong in your faith!! She has a NEW NAME written down in glory.
And it is her's and her's alone.
It was given by God the day she was born again.
Just as a parent names their baby when they are born.
God named her when she was Born Again

Satan does not know that name.

mama, she is testing you and i would not give the devil his due. while you need to set boundries and you have a right to set those in your home, it will be hard to chose her friends and to escape her outside influences. my advice is to lighten up on the outside stuff so she will be more open with the inside stuff. my daughter, the more i pushed or came down heavy the more it pushed into her friends. she could go to them and have a justification to bad mouth me. i would change that if i could because i think looking back i came across as self rightous and she had seen my at my worse. if she says something about the numbers, just laugh and say that is a interesting story but this is why i named you this ect ect. do not let her see you be upset by it because that only gets exactly what she wanted. just shrug it off and hit your knees about it later. it is easier said then done but it can be done. pick your battles mama!! bind up those bad spirits that she might have let in too. i think this important too. hope this helps..

Shale...jg...kasi64....thank You So Much For Your Advice And Prayers...i Love You Guys And Thank God For All Of You.......i Am Going To Take All Of This Advice And Use It Well.....jg...i Am Making A Copy Of Your Song/poem? ....i Am Putting It On Her Bed Tonight....thats Was Great.......guys...i Have A Very Close Knit Family And It Has Only Been About 6 Months Ago That My Nephews Life Ended At The Age Of 20. He Was A Beautiful Young Man...very Popular...had So Many Friends..everyone Liked Him....but He Had A Drinking Problem.... He Had Taken Darvocet Earlier(not To Get High...not A Good Drug For That) For A Back Ache...he Drank With His Buddies That Night And Was On His Way To A Friends House When He Had A Reaction...they Found Him Dead In A Parking Lot Where He'd Pulled Over.....this Devastated Our Family.....but All Our Family Is Afraid Delana Is Next Because Of Her Activities.....i Just Pray For Her Safety....thank You For Your Prayers...sincerely...lisa
