Have you taken time with Jesus today?

Luke 10: 38-41
Mary and Martha both loved Jesus. On this occasion, they were both serving Him. But Martha thought Mary`s style of serving was inferior to hers. She didnt realize that in her desire to serve, she was actualy neglecting her Guest. Are you so busy doing things for Jesus, that your not spending any time with Him? Don`t let Your service become self-serving.

The Holy spirit impressed upon my heart, that i myself am guilty of that. Theres always, so much to do, just doing for Jesus. Please take time today, Just to spend with Him. Sitting at His feet. Rest in the Lord!

Your sister in Christ, christy.

Oh so true so true. When I was a little younger I used to wonder what God's will was for my life. What His plan was for me. I just couldn't quite hear what He wanted me to do. I was busy doing stuff for Him but it just didn't feel right...like that's not all there was and I kept questioning. An evangelist friend of mine told me to be more like Mary and spend time sitting at Jesus feet instead of constantly moving and never resting in Him. Woah did that touch me. I became so busy doing instead of resting I wasn't able to hear and catch the plans He had. Sitting at Jesus feet and being a Mary when being Mary is needed definitly changes your life.
