Where does evil come from ?

How could God who is only good create Satan who is pure evil ? I mean
how does this work ? If you take sugar and bake something with it
then the sugar doesn't turn to salt. How can a good being create something evil or something which becomes evil one day ? Where does evil come from ? If God created everything then he must also have created evil otherwise it would not exist.How can something bad evolve from something good ? Did God create evil so that we have free will ? Is it all about that ? There are believers which say that God is also Satan that he is both good and evil cause he created both.
There cannot be an easy answer to this cause when God created a good Satan then evil didn't exist. When evil didn't exist then Satan also
couldn't chose to be evil he wouldn't even have known what being evil
is. Do you understand what I mean ?
Some people say God gave us free will, but this is not an answer. When God created everything then he must also have created evil, but this would mean that God is kind of twisted. This cannot be, I cannot believe that God created evil simply to give us a choice to chose between him and Satan. I refuse to believe that God invented evil.

God did not create evil, nor did He create darkness.
He created light to get rid of the darkness, and Jesus to get rid of the evil.
Darkness was already there and after His creation of angels, the potential for evil became existent because when He created the angelic beings, they were not puppets-they had attributes that were indicative of having wills of their own.
When Lucifer decided he wanted to be more powerful than God, he created a direct act of rebellion towards God. This is what sin is-rebellion against God.
II Peter 2:4 says "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment...."
What is important is that He made a way for us to get out of going to hell.
All we have to do is accept His gift which is Jesus.
We need only to ask Him to forgive us and to come into our hearts-it's as simple as that.
I thank and praise Him for His gift to us and for sending light into the world!

I think you really have to put this away from your mind cause if you dont satan can try to use it against you! To put doubt and suspition in your mind about the word of God! Recognise his tools! If he can start twisting your mind of those things God did not let us see clearly, for a reason, i feel that, thats where faith comes in on our part, because CLEARLY, evil is an ABOMINATION of God and to say, that evil is a part of God is really getting close to blashfemy(sp?). BE CAREFUL, where you are treading!
First, there are a lot of things we dont know YET that is in Gods word, and that He did not intend for us to know, now, one day we will.
I also use to think this way, until conviction grabed me, this is where i needed to let God Be God. And know, that right now theres no way for me as a human to know all the mysteries of Gods word, But I know beyond a doubt that God has NO PART IN EVIL, and i leave it right there. Thats all i need to know for now.
I would ask God in Jesus name to put these thoughts under the Blood of Jesus, remove them from your thoughts, before the line is crossed. The mind itself is a battle field in which satan is a very equiped and capable force, he is a very wise *****! if you let him, he will make you focus on things we do not know, instead of focusing on what the Lord would have your mind on. He has had thousands of years exp. Watch out! Simply take God at His Word, and leave it at that!

Just to jump in here real quick this is an easy one is called SELF WILL satan chose the wrong way and now he is reaping what he sowed, God gives everyone self will so we cant blame anything on God in saying why did God allow this etc or create this, With self will either life or death is before us we either are going to choose the right path which is life or we are going to choose the wrong path which is death in either case WE will reap what we sow be it we choose life or death, We cant blame God for anything how can we when he is giving us all the self will to make the choice, then when we make a bad choice and something happens because we are reaping what we are sowing we blame God and ask why did this happen..SELF WILL is why it happened we chose the wrong way death instead of life just as satan did he chose death and is reaping what he sowed..ok thats good for now I will get off my soap box

I dont know if i agree with all of that just forget about it stuff. God made everything. When he made the angels, he kew what Lucifer would do. But I think he had it all planned out so that we would have to choose him. THink about if you were God. Would you want to hear a bunch of mindless robots say how good you were all day? If they didnt have to choose then it is completly pointless. So, to answer your question, I think God did create evil as messed up as it sounds.
