i know this guy who was my best friend elementry school school. unfortunatly, when i moved away, i lost all contact with him. this past may we ran into each other in a super market, where both he and myh father work. know i've been trying to repair what we had lost. a few days ago i asked him to come visit me and told him there is a swing dance next week at my college. it seemed innocent enough. but he had prior engagements and was forced to decline. however, in talking to my father latter that night, he said that my friend is thinking romantically about me. now he has a girl friend and is an unbeliever, but he intends to take me on a date. now, this is a totally new world for me as thus far no one has ever expressed an interest in me in that way. how can a let him down without hurting his pride and our friendship. please pray that the Holy Spirit will give me the words to speak, or even better, not allow this thing to even come to pass. also, please pray for my friend's salvation.
