I have DSL and your new programs worked great. Voice and picture quality were great; almost as good as cable TV. The only confusion was that both links got me the same update by Shawn. Thanks Jolene

Posted by: Godcatcher

Jerry I watched the cable link. It looks fine it played at the right speed and I have watched it at your meetings as well. It is enough to give me goosebumps everytime I watch it and get me all stirred up seeing people running to God, running to victory, running to freedom. These men, women, and children are excellent examples of the desperation that we need to have in our lives daily. You can never ever fail running to God

There should be three links

This first one is Shawn working the new program for teaching and news

The second is video of nigeria at cable speen

The third is video of nigeria at modem speed

The Modem link to the Nigeria Video worked fine for me, Jerry, but the Intro was a no-go.

As for the content... it made my hair stand on end and I've seen it probably five times now.

Didn't work at all under my preferred browser, Netscape. It tried to load the .WMV file as a browset page. Please consider that a lot of people prefer the non-Microsoft version of the world, and choose Netscape or Mozilla, particularly under the ever-growing Linux O/S

Changing the music would be good! How about a step up to caliope renditions of Bach? Just kidding.

I think the program was wonderful and wish I could see people in North America NOT walking to the alter but running. Run to Jesus, best Finish Line in Eternity. These people knew it.

I have a Windows 2000 Professional macine with a 550 Intel processor running on RAID 0, with Windows Media Player 9 and a modem Telephone conection running at 3 Megabyte download speed, so everything was perfect.512Meg RAM, 160 GIG Dual Hard Drives, IE 6 Browser

Why change the music? I am a concert piano player with an engineering background and photographic/ media background.I have done music editing and you aren't going to please everyone but you should stand out. ESPECIALLY if you are a child of Christ. As Christians we have gone evagelistically soft;eg, where are the good tracts, the good hard hitting books in a "Chrisitan Bookstore",what happened to us going to bring nieghbours to church and on and on. GOOD GOING IS MY ANSWER.

I have been involved with television and radio and professional advertising for 56 years, but thanks to the Lord most people think I am 40 years old.

The production was great and very inspiring.

I watched both the viedos, and I had no problem at all. I found the content really to raise hairs on my head. Great job on what you have accomplished now and what the future holds.
I have a GATEWAY with Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6.0., and I have Earthlink DSL.

Posted by: dentedhalo

Good morning Jerry.........

I don't know very much about computers, but here is my results watching the provided links:

First, about my computer:
I'm using a Gateway 450 laptop
I (think) I have plenty of this RAM you speak of (?)
Internet connection : Don't really know! I guess that would be AOL 9.0, but I also have Internet Explorer.........It's a dial-up connection.
I have Windows Media Player. Also Windows XP home version.

My Viewing Results:

I couldn't watch the first two of the three provided links. I kept getting the message: "Source filter for this file cannot be loaded."

The third link was a success, though. I don't know why, but the video showed up in a small 2" box on my Windows Media Player screen, so it was a bit hard to see. This is probably my fault though, attributable to my own lack of computer education!

I want to tell you that what I did see was at perfect playing speed, and visually clear. As for the content? Extremely moving; Sent shivers down my back and just about brought tears to my eyes. It was wonderful.

Posted by: bmcr22

I really enjoyed the video. I believe it will be a great asset to the website. I will look forward to seeing more. I was only able to access the one clip with Shawn. Thank you for sharing the news.

God Bless

All ran great without stopping quality was good on first 2, poor image on last link. No worth having the video on the last one, slide show on it would be better.

I have Cable Internet from Comcast.
Hope this helps.

Hello!

We have Windows ME, 80 GIG HD, 128 MB, ATI video card, 768 MB of DDR memory, pentium 4 1.9 GHZ (400 FSB) and a ZOOM 56k modem. The videos played well. They took a long time to buffer but once they did the image and sound were clear. Great job! Praise God! :-)

Posted by: WarriorBride

Fantastic, easy to see, not too blurry.. Was slow to download tho and I have windows 98, but it could be my isp..it's dialup. So that is a lot slower,, keep up the good news flowing over the internet.

Posted by: Nate

Hi Shawn,

I was impressed with the quality of the videos; the first two download rather slowly. I have dsl. The last video (modem) was fast.

I loved the update. Hallelujah! Over 100,000 decisions in one night! By the way, I have heard your dad mention you now and again, and it was good to put a face to your name.

I'm glad you're going to fine-tune the music.

I won't get to Tacoma, I look forward to seeing your dad when he's back in the Portland area. Please pass this message to your brother (Steve & Jerri) and your dad (& mom):

Theresa & Nate Alexander love you very much. We stand with you in prayer. Keep running!

Shawn, your clip took 13 minutes to load, but it was perfect. Clear picture, clear audio, good speed.

The first altar call video had the clearest picture, but was very slow.

The second altar call was really fast loading compared to the other two, but the picture quality was not good.

I have xp.
I have a modem.
I have a hateful security system, or maybe my machine is having spiritual problems and needs some demons cast out.
I don't know what the rest of your questions mean.

I don't mind the slowness in exchange for the quality. I would love to see a gathering for revival in the United States like this one!

Worked real fine - I have cable and a WindowsXP computer.
Jerry's voice was a little fragile sounding but got better near end.
Very very awesome to see Nigeria hungry so very very hungry
for God....
Everything was just like tv, clear and normal speed.
Music? I guess I didn't hear it.

Posted by: Whisperlakes

Jerry,

I tried out the intro and the alter call. I have cable internet. The picture was very good, but the sound was not consistent. In the intro, the intro music was much louder than the speaker. In the alter call, I had to really turn up the volume to be able to hear you.

Hope this helps. I really like the idea of having video clips. It was interesting to see how the ministry in Nigeria went. Thanks for letting us know.

Many Blessings,

More importantly - God is worthy to be praised for the awesome miracles in Nigeria ;o)

Absolute Awesome - all a-ok took almost 20 min to buffer but it was great! I have Windows XP

Posted by: MASZOO

Okay, so they all worked great except for the third one was taking forever to buffer or whatever. he first time I did it it took about ten minutes. The second time over 10 minutes went by and it was only half way done. I kind a gave up. I will probably see how it works on my computer at home since the internet is a little faster and better.

Here is info about my computer...
Type=Compaq
OS=XP Professional
Hard Drive=40GB
RAM=256MB
Browser=7.0
Window Media Player=9.0

The internet connection here is cable but can be a little slow due to the fact I'm on my school's connection and so are hundreds of other students.

I think that the program was excellent, one it got downloaded. The sound was decent as well as the picture. I think that it would be a great addition to this site.

I have noticed a few issues with these videos.
First, is that they are encoded for windows media player 9.0

Someone said that when they clicked the link they only received a bunch of code and not the video.

-that would be from not having windows media player on your computer.

A few people said they received messages saying source file not found.
I noticed that a few people saying this were on aol, and I would really like to track down the problem on this one.

-questions about this problem..... Does windows media player open when you click the link, and then say not found? Or, does it just open a browser window and state that?
If you have had that problem, and if you have windows media player, please open windows media player and try to put the video url into there.
I am curious if that would work.

For anyone using windows, I would seriously suggest upgrading to the new player vs. 9.0+
It is much better than any prior versions, and quite frankly there have been a number of security exploits posted about windows media player. It would be a good idea to upgrade, just like you should do for the actual windows updates, in order to get the latest patches.
I would hate to see anyone's computer compromised when fixing it is so easy.

thank you to everyone who has posted, your posts really help us a lot.

Dear shawn
The first link took a long time to download through real player into winows media 9 but it was worth the wait. The second was quicker but the picture size and quality was much poorer overall.
I have windows xp and am using a 56k dial up modem.
I hope this is useful
R
Ps. I enjoyed seeing it. Music was upbeat!

The video works GREAT!!!!!!!! It downloaded into WMP9 smoothly & quickly.

On Shawn's video the sound had allot of echo, like he was in a well.

On Jerry's video the sound was almost non-existent and I couldn't increase the volume enough to hear what he said.

Overall Outstanding!!!

This is great. I love the idea and the concept. I have been hoping you would/could go in this direction.

I am running WinXP Pro and using a cable modem (with 3Mb download speed).

I really really liked what I saw ....

Especially Shawns updates. .... My only complaint is that the sound was a too low I had my speakers turned up all the way and could barely hear it . To compare I brought up KCM ministries BVOV and could hear it just fine.

all in all I am really encouraged to see the clip from Nigeria and the summary.
My Joy will be in a way revived when I can sit at my computer and watch Brother Jerry preach as clear as when we saw him in the Texas Panhandle. We continue to pray for you guys and God bless you in your obedience!!!!

Jerry I have very slow modem and the voice was clear but the picture was very small also blurry when there was moving around. I could only view the Nigeria alter call, I do not know how to view the others. Thank you for asking me to be a part of this viewing. God bless you in this endeavor. Lyn

Great video. Absolutely loved it. Worked great on my high-speed cable access.

When I finally opened this it paused a few times for a few seconds to buffer but it's loud and clear up here.

Thank you Lord for this alter call. We give you all the glory. Bless your new children, Lord they ran to you take them up in your arms daily. Give them peace and joy. Feed and water your flock with healing bread, living bread, new wine and living waters Lord. Send a mighty revival in Nigeria and all of Africa Lord. Deliver them from pain, suffering, need, lack and want. Save their leaders Lord. Do a mighty work in their governments, business and judicial sector, and in their media and personal lives. Supply all their need, touch each one, fill them with the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name.

Sorry, but I could not get anything to play - received error code saying "necessary codecs not loaded" (whatever that means?) I have DSL, Windows XP, Intel Pentium Processor, 1.59 GHz, 640 MB Ram and Windows Media Player for XP. Could be my problem, though! Good luck and God bless all your efforts!

yah, it worked on my computer, it's clear though but a little bit fuzzy on the screen. But that's fine. God bless.

I have Athlan XP 1.5 GHz with Cable internet on Comcast. Shawn news clip came across with in 1 min. the voice and picture was clear even on full screen.
The alter call took a little longer to load but only about 2 min. The video was clear in the small format but got blury in bigger format. I think this was just my computer. The voice came across very clear.
Great idea on the news clip. I've talked to Shawn on email but now I can put a face to the typing. Great job.

God Bless your ministry team.

Note for Jerry: The "Zoomer" has not hit me yet but the Lord is still working on me. I'm were the Lord want me right now doing sound and heading up the men's ministry at my chruch. I know He has more for me and He's teaching me more everyday.
