Visions and Prophecy

First time on the board, salutations in Jesus name and to our Father who is our advocate. My name is Robert I have had many visions the last one being the 9/11 situation in NY city. It was a week before the actual incident. I became ill for that week till friends called and asked me to turn on the tube. At that point my burden was lifted and felt such a great relief. Problem is wish could have done more to alert America and the world. Also when Princess Diana was taken I informed my friends that two more of royal color and decent would be taken to fulfill the vision. Of course mother Theresa and the King of of Jordan were next. At times I feel such a guilt and sadness through the Lord speaking to me in this way. Please include me in your prayers and inform me if and who is having the same or similiar experiences. Allow me to include the shuttle that we recently lost that also was told me that they would not return. When our dear brother from Israel was in prayer I fell to my knees in prayer as well. I knew they would not return so was not shocked when any of the above occurences happend.

Dear Lord, give Robert peace as wisdom. Also discernment Lord. Take away the guilt and sadness for these things aren't his fault. Lord, help us to pray with precision for our leaders, country, people and the nations. Help us all to be faithful watchmen of our family, city, state, country and for the uttermost parts of the earth in Jesus name, amen and amen.
I sometimes have those dreams. But it's mostly personally. Like when I got a speeding ticket, the night before I dreamt of police lights in my rear view mirror. Also another time when I had a dream that my van broke down, the day of that dream, it happened.

When our youngest son was in the 4th grade, I dreamed that he was involved in an accident and that he had surgery. I knew after several days he was okay. Of course, I prayed. Several months later, it happened as I had dreamed. I knew when the phone call came that this was the "replay." I told my DH that everything was going to be okay. I didn't fall away either. Of course, I was concerned but I just knew he was going to be okay.
When our son was home from the hospital, I told him about the dream. He wanted to know why I hadn't told him in advance.
I said all of this to say, I remember how it felt to have this experience once. I thought if I spoke about it before it happened that it would give it weight and things might not turn out the way it was in the dream.
But many days I questioned our decisions about going places and doing things. I can just imagine what it must be like for you. God must know that you can handle all the varied experiences that come with this gift. I've prayed for you to have peace.

I pray that God will help you to deal with this gift he has given you. I to know things at times but mine are closer to home, nothing on par with yours. Please don't feel guilt over things which you can not change but just be aware for the one(s) you can . God Bless you

I have been given a similar gift with visions of national and international events. Prior to 9-11 I had dreams about people screaming and I smelled smoke. Another time, I had a dear sister in the Lord request prayer from me only to go home a week later..when I spoke with her, I knew I wouldn't see her again this side of Heaven.
I finally became so guilt-ridden and frustrated I spoke with my Pastor about it.
He said the gift is called, "Words of Knowledge" and it is usually meant to compliment intercession. Furthermore he said it was powerful and dangerous. It is powerful because their is alot required of the receipients to pray with passion. It is dangerous because you have to discern what is meant to be shared and what is private just for you to keep praying through.
Obviously, my dear brother, you can't tell people, "God told me you're going to die.." That isn't why you have this. Pray and trust..God is in control.

Robert the Gift that you have been given is not something that should make you feel guilty or even make you afraid. This Gift as someone else has already told you is the gift of knowledge. This gift is given to you as a responsiblity to pray for others. You have most likely been chosen to intecess for the nations. You should not tell everyone what you see unless God tells you to. Get in your prayer closet and ask God to teach you. Do not fear this gift though. The Bible says that we are not given a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind. use what God has given you to help others. Jesus is looking for someone to stand in the Gap. He wants people to pray, and I believe that you are going to be a mighty intercessor. My calling is to be an intecessor as well. If you have not received the Baptizim of the holy Spirit then you need to pray for this. God says in Romans that when we do not know what to pray for the Holy Spirit prays through us. The gifts of God are a way to make a difference in this world.
