I am asking for everyone who can to please pray for my daughter. she is battlling prescription drug addiction. She has had this problem for several years now, but unknown to any of us. She married 2 years ago to a wonderful man., who has given her it all. he found out about this addiction afew months after they married. since then, she has admitted herself into rehab, had counceling weekly and has tried very hard. she has had 4 backslidding episodes since that time. he told her that if it happened again, he would file for divorce--they have no children, but were wanting to. he found out she had taken 6 pills in 2 days and has now filed for divorce. she is so upset and so lost--i have cried until i cant cry anymore--she know what she is losing. he wants her to live by herself and kick this addiction with the hope of getting back together one day. he says this is the only way to close that bad chapter in there lives. he loves her with all his heart and will take care of her for a year.
I am so afraid that she will have a very difficult time living by herself and only having her family and friends to help her with this addiction. Please, everyone pray for her to kick this habit. she needs to do this for herself, and not for him. Please let God into her life with hope and understanding,
All any of us can do now, is to turn this over to God and pray. Please pray for her.

Father, Your Word says that our fight is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Father, help us to see that just as there are wars fought in the natural realm, there is also a real battle taking place in the spiritual realm and our battles are not against people but against demonic spirits.

Your Word declares that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through the pulling down of strongholds. Thank you, Lord, that You have given us the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Jesus came that we might have life and life more abundantly and it is through Him and the victory at the cross that we can claim authority over the enemy. Jesus’ death freed us from sin and gave us the power and authority to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.

I thank you, Lord, that the gates of hell cannot prevail against Your people, the Church. I thank you for the equipment and the weapons You have given us to fight against the enemy, for the armor of God and for the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

The Word of God also says that whatsoever I bind on earth is bound in heaven. And whatsoever I loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Therefore, I resist you Satan, in the name of Jesus and I bind the strongman that goes to and fro seeking whom he may devour. I loose your power and your effect and I render you powerless over God’s people.

Lord, You said if we would submit to You and resist the devil, he would flee from us. Help us to remember who You are, that You are fighting for us, that all power in heaven and earth is Yours, and that You will deliver us from the influence of the enemy. Help us to remember that the battle is Yours and that if we stand on Your Word, in Your name, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, Satan will flee from us.

Lord, You are our defense. You are the Rock of our refuge. Help us find shelter in the promises of Your Word. Let us wage a good warfare in the heavenlies, Lord, holding onto our faith, and a good conscience. Thank you that no enemy can defeat us; we praise You Father, that nothing will be able to separate us from Your love.

In Jesus Name,

Amen.

It your daughter's husband loves her with all of his heart, he would not be making her go through this by herself, and threaten her with a divorce because of it.....sorry think about it....But I do agree that she does need devine intervention in her life at this point....Pray that God will touch her husbands heart, so he will enter into this fight with her to beat this problem.I do also pray that the lord will help her beat this addiction she is trying to overcome....

Dear Heavenly Father, Please hear this Mother's plea for her daughter. May this daughter ask you to remove her obsession with drugs. May this mother never give up hope. I am living proof of your loving grace. Sometimes we must continue to ask for help, God for we must realize that YOU are the one who has the power NOT us. Continue to pray for your daughter, pray that she has a moment of clarity and sees that God will remove her obsession. Amen! Calidream07
