Husband filed for divorce

Please Dear Jesus and fellow Brother and Sisters say a

prayer for my husband's heart to sofen and be filled with the holy spirt

in order to allow him to forgive my many sins against God and him, and

our 5 year old son Nathan. My husband and I met 11 years ago in AA. I

had nearly 7 years of sobriety, then picked up the drink again. The last

2 1/2 years have been a living hell on me and our family with me in and

out of sobriety. Especially the last 5 months before he left with our

son. Becuse of my drinking I placed myself in horrible situations and

have been unfaithful many times. Plus all the alcoholic insanity of

detoxes in and out. Well, he left in Sept when I was in my last detox. I

have not had a drink since and have gone back to AA, however I had a

couple of slips with substututing other drugs. I have smashed in that

any drug is as bad as Alcohol and have been completly clean for 35 days

now, and started the 12 step process. I step 3, (We made a dicision to

turn our will and our life over to God as we understood him.) I realized

that I never ever fully surrenderd to the Lord Jesus, and have done that

now. I feel like it's Gods will for my husband to stop the divorce and

allow us to walk forward in faith. To have us finally be a united christian

family and for me to stive to be a noble wife. Most importantly so that it all can be used for the Glory and Honor of Christ. To be a testimony that nougthing is impossible with the Lord. thank you all for your prayers and support. Susan in Maine.

Father, I lift Susan up to you now. Father, thank you for her honesty, and that she clearly sees that she needs you, and that the life she was living was wrong, and not of you. Lord, you honor a humble and contrite spirit, so please look favorably on your daughter Susan. When she is weak, let her have your strength that she will stand firm and resist temptation. Father, as she grows in you, and your love and discipline, let her be transformed, and let her husband see her beauty. Soften his heart that he might be receptive to her, and truly see you at work in her life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,please help this woman through her addiction.Alcoholism
is a terrble disease.She is sorry and a big enough person to admit it and get help.Please help to reunite her with her husband,may everything be healed and made new and fresh.Let them have a new beginning.Please help their son through this difficult time also,he is just a little boy and needs his family to be together.We ask this in your most Holy name,Amen
