Our poem now has a title...Thank You

"God's Special Touch"

From the womb, is where we start,
The first to form, is our heart,
A single beat, so meek and mild,
The makings of a godly child.

Unable to speak, even mutter a sound,
Closely resembling a seed in the ground,
So much potential, yet still unknown,
What will become of the seed we have sewn.

Like the trunk of a tree, our bodies emerge,
And all of the sudden, there is a serge,
Although we dont see it, it happens so slow,
We study it hard, and are eager to know.

Before we can breathe, we are full of life,
Are we made from God, or by husband and wife,
In the blink of eye, we're created as such,
How can we question, God's special touch.

Born of the womb, created with soul,
God has a plan, a triumphant life goal,
As the mother gives birth to this special one,
Heaven rejoices, but God is not done.

Day by day, and hour by hour,
We grow and grow, awaiting the flower,
The root of the tree, is tall and strong,
The branches and limbs, can grow very long.

But what is a tree, without all its fruits,
Tis like mighty soldiers without armor suits,
Unable to fight, to head into battle,
In fear he shakes, his limbs how they rattle.

So I say, we must be prepared,
Life is so precious, but should also be shared,
Friends and loved ones, they all come and go,
But the one we need most is so hard to know.

Would a father give up his very own son,
To show the world there's no need to run?
His arms are wide open and ready to hold,
This life He's created who's story's untold.

So come walk with Him, He'll never let go,
He'll make you see, He's got so much to show,
Blessings He'll give you, if you'll just receive,
And follow the scripture, accept and believe.

Have faith in the Lord and obey his command,
Walk very gently on His holy land,
Do not be afraid to stumble and fall,
As a baby begins to learn first to crawl.

Humble Flower

Humble flower, how did-
You grow so proud?
Beautiful baby little one-
As a boy your grew, someone’s son,
Born so poor through life’s door.

I wish you lived up to your name-
You live your life as a game,
Your heart is hard like stone-
Callous, chills to the bone,
Waiting for Friday night intoxication-
Trouble meets you without hesitation,
When will the floor give way beneath you-
In a house of cards I see you,
May the Spirit draw you out of this pit-
Before you leave this world by hit.

Today’s the day of your salvation-
Don’t wait to call Jesus without hesitation,
Only admit your sin and be born again-
Forsake what has been done-
And walk in the Son,
He’ll show you the way to be free-
From your self-imposed insanity,
Then you can learn to grow-
As a beautiful rose,
Humbled by grace and seeking His face.

Curtis 50 Cents Jackson

Courteous Curtis has made it rich-
Hard hearted soul from the ditch,
Took on the name 50 cents-
Money has been your Recompense,

You count yourself blessed-
Well said, proper, I do confess,
Trust in riches to make the man-
But God can do what no man can,

Your wealth will be left for others to spend-
When in grave you meet your end,
Fate of those who trust in self-
Your salvation ain’t found in monetary wealth,

Yahweh is a gracious God-
Belief in Him some find odd,
He is the one that makes the man-
He can do what no man can!

Curtis, Curtis, 50 Cent-
Money has been your Recompense,
You are worth more than gold-
Let the truth of God be told,
May the Spirit draw you near-
Humble your heart and take your fear,
Your soul is not satisfied in the hood-
Until you’ve filled it with somethin’ good,

Jesus longs to hold your hand-
And fill your soul with what no man can,
Turn to Him your beautiful face-
Die to sin, be saved by grace.

Leave a world of great despair-
Pain and sin full of care,
The cross you wear is-
The cross you bear,
Fame to gain left to stare-
Like a movie star in a role,
Made it rich, but sold your soul.

What’s your profit?
Hear this prophet,
Prophetess, I digress.
What salvation do you profess?
