i need a prayer of some kind

My boyfriend is getting BAD grades in school. In 1 week or less, his mom is going to take him out of this school, and transfer him into another school. I want him to stay at this school, and get better grades... because I want him to be by my side through the rest of the school year. I don't think I could go on with life without him supporting me.

Yearinacentury, I'm glad that you requested prayer but concerned that you have so much reliance on someone besides yourself. For example, my nephew is in Iraq currently. The entire family is supporting him and he knows that we are praying for him, love him, and looking forward to his return. We would have preferred that he stay with us but his job is a military soldier and that required for him to go. But God can help us deal with any situation and that's the only way to get through some things. Wanting your boyfriend to make better grades shows that you have high standards but he is the only one who can improve his grades.

Lord, I pray for Yearinacentury. Thank you Lord for her requesting prayer and that she knows your guidance is needed. In Jesus' name, I pray that you will give her wisdom, insight, and peace. Give her favor in her relationships and her school work. Let her know that you custom designed her and love her and that you're concerned about every aspect of her life. Let her know that she can rely on you in every situation even if things don't go the way she thinks they should. We pray for her boyfriend that he will be realize that he can work out all of his problems by putting you as the top priority in his life and living according to your Word. We thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. Thank you Father.

Lord, I thank you for YearinaCentury. She is a young woman who believes in the power of prayer. Last week or so I prayed that she would overcome her fear of dating. Now, Lord, I lift her before You again, that she learn who she is in You and security in herself. Bless her boyfriend, Lord, and bring to his life what he needs to be strong in You. Lord, bless her and help her to understand that our partner is a blessing but that YOU are the reason we live, and move, and have our being. If this move to a new school is best for him then You will indeed use it for Your glory in both of their lives. In Jesus Name. Amen.
