Paypal & identity theft warning

In today’s information age there are many benefits such as being able
to make online purchases. If you are like me you might be making those purchases through paypal.com. We as the body of Christ must be wise
to the plans of the enemy to steal our resources right out from under us.

I received this email today. Usually as of late there have been emails
similar to this that have come to me asking for me to log in.
With these emails comes a sense of urgency. "Your account will be
Terminated if you do not repond" or in this case "We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address."

Please protect yourself. If you need to log in to your account close your
Browser and open it again. Then log into the account yourself. Do not use the links provided in the email if you plan to send information for account login and passwords. I am trying to save you from a heart break here.

You should see on the address line https://paypal.com if the "s" is not there after the "http" your information that you provide can be used against you.

I know of someone who has already lost his whole account balance due to this theft of identity.

So ebay, paypay, your own personal bank account online, all of these we
must be wise to protect our identity.

Blessings, Robert Cyders…

Below is the message that I received….

p.s. even the reply to address is incorrect.
it has an "s" after service**paypal.com

Yeah I have seen those and more reguarding paypal.
The absolute best one that I saw, it's actually criminal, is a fully formatted html email from what looks like paypal.
Even the graphics, when you right click are all from paypal, everything is, that is with the exception of the link you click which is shadowed.

as with anything dealing with finances it's very important to be carefull about answering any email you receive. The best practice is to never use the links in the email, but to always goto the site in question manually, so that you know where you are.

Shawn, you don't know the rest. I logged in to the bogus site and when I typed in my bogus password "goflyakite" it took me to an official looking
paypal creditcard verification and billing address site. It looks exactly like the real mcoy. (Elijah Mcoy- look him up he invented an advanced oiling mechanism for the steam engine.)

Anyhow thats my further thoughts on this....I have reported it to paypal
and had trouble doing so as there is some hidden German language symbol embedded within the email that the reporting engine will not accept. I am sure they will keep this up as long as they can...

Blessings, Robert Cyders...
