I have been with Michael for about 4 years now. We have had many ups and downs. He was raised in a Christian household and gave his life to God at an early age. He is now thirty years old, and hasn't truly been following God fully since about the age of 17. It seems that in this time I have drawn nearer to the Lord, and Michael has grown further away. His faith seems somewhat stale. I have been taking him with me to my church, but he still does not identify it as his own church. He knows the Word of God inside and out, but it does not seem to be touching him, or be instilled in his heart. Lately he has been consumed with work, and many other things of the world. He can listen to things on the radio that any other Christian would be appalled to hear. He has a friend who is not saved and has no interest in even getting into the topic of God...they just "hang out" and this of course always involves alcohol. Michael seems to compromise the little faith he has left. I have trouble getting through to him since he feels like he is saved and God is in control and everything will be OK. He thinks he has it all figured out, but doesn't seem motivated to completely submit to God's will. There are moments when I think he is being moved, times when he himself acknowledges he hasn't been close with God, and needs to change. I pray that he will have true Intimacy with Christ, complete dependency on Him. I would love to see a transformation in his life. PLEASE pray in agreement with me that God will touch Michael's heart, and that he will become a new creation in Christ our Lord.

Father, I bring Michael to You for REAL Salvation! He needs to get GOOD SAVED! Holy Spirit, open his eyes to the hounds of hell that are snapping and waiting for permission to tear him to shreds. open his eyes to see the hell he is heading for if he does not turn back to the God of his youth. Father, I ask the same for his unsaved friend. Bring them running to the alter to meet Jesus! When they try to get drunk to hid the visions, let them see a snake ready to bite their lips if they take a drink! make them so miserable that they are desperate to find God! Scare them into heaven and unfreeze their hearts toward the Father. In the Name of Jesus! I break the spirits off their lives that are preventing their softness of heart toward God and Jesus! I loose off their lives the lies and coldness of spirit that holds them captive. I come against, bind up and gag every power and principality that is involved in their lives. I speak Life and Salvation to them in the Name of Jesus! AMEN!

Thank you Carol so much for your prayers. I pray everyday for Michael. Often I try to encourage him, yet he receives plenty of discouragement, surprisingly from his mother who is saved. She thinks we should just give up on him because he will never change. This is the environment that he lives in. I have complete faith in the God that we serve, knowing that He has authority over all things and can turn even Michael's heart toward Him, regardless of the circumstances.
Faithfully in Christ,
Desiree
