Feeling so bruised and defeated

Dear precious brothers and sisters in Christ,

Please pray for our 18-year-old daughter. Recently, her boyfriend of 2-1/2 years broke off their relationship and within two weeks another woman with 2 kids moved in with him (my daughter and he were not living together). To make matters worse, his sister has been starting vicious rumors about our daughter. Our daughter is devestated, depressed and thinking that it is all her fault. I am so angry about the whole situation that I can't sleep, eat or even pray at times. We need healing and direction from the Lord...healing from bitterness. I also want to know the truth about our daughter; I love and trust her but now there have been seeds of doubt planted in my mind.

Thank you for listening, please pray for us,

have_hope

Dear Friend in Christ, Remember that satan comes to kill, steal & destroy. Father in the name of Jesus I thank you for who you are, I pray a healing now & a release from the past. Break any soul ties & bring her into repentance of any sins. Help this family to move on in what God has for them, especially in the daughters case. You have something so much better in store for her, I pray you show yourself powerful on her behalf. Draw her into a closer relationship with you Lord by your Holy Spirit. Use this to your benefit & glory. Heal her heart & show her your love for her. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
Take your daughter to the Passion if she hasn't seen it yet.

My Friend in Christ... Hope

As I read you post I was saying to myself.. Satan sure does work it's way into a family in such subtle ways even casting doubt with the parents of this precious child.

My question to you... is even if the rumors were true would you love your daughter any less?? Of course not... Your job is to intercede in prayer for her, set the example for her and love her unconditionally (which I believe you do).

Be an encourager at all times for her, let her know she has stability in her life through you, this is what this young child needs at this point. The Lord will heal and crush the darkness which has consumed her mind and the people trying to hurt her life. But she also needs to realize it not about a boyfriend or those who are saying terrible things about her... her focus needs to be on the Lord. It is about him (God) and she will only become stronger and even more blessed if she can maintain this focus.

May the peace of the Lord be with your family always. God Bless.

In Christ. John
