What % of your church congregation has the gift of helps? Just wondering whether our church is the norm. Thanks.

Everyone who attends church or claims to be a Christian is gifted with "helps", some choose not to walk in it because they believe that God and the Church are there to serve them not the other way around.
If you are asking about how many people actually walk in the "helps" gifting in any church it is about 2 percent that work every week and 20 percent that work on a once a month basis.
This is a real shame for those who just sit and expect to be served.

Yes, I'm asking for real application of the gift. Thanks.

If by helps you mean getting out and helping those in need, then I would say my church is close to 100%. Of course it is small and so is the community, but any time someone in the community needs help like fixing a roof or needing care and comfort after a death or tragedy in the family or just help getting the crops in, pretty much the whole church turns out to help. Doesn't matter it the one needing help is in the church or not, it is considered an honor to help, and especially to help those not in the church because it shows them what being a Christian is truely about. We may not do it every day as there are not many people in our area, but anytime someone needs a hand we are there.
