Hi,
I don't even know where to begin. All I do know is that i have a massive amount of debt and I am barely 21 years old. I attend college full-time and have a part-time job. I am so stressed out right now because of all the creditors calling my house and everything else...I don't know what to do. Before I went away to college...I used to pay ALL my bills ontime. But since I was not working for one semester, lates fees and over the limited charges ran up my bills. Now that I do have a job, it is not nearly enough to cover my late fees and outstanding balance. I have an outstanding debt for almost $2500. This might now seem a lot to many...but for me this is massive. My mother is a single parent and I am a full time college student. I do love and trust the Lord...but I don't know how much longer I can hold out. Please pray for me. Your Sister in Christ.

Hi,
Rather than to make yourself sick over this, you're going to have to quit worrying about these creditors for now. They can't kill you or put you in jail, so don't worry. When you get behind, they make it almost impossible to catch up because of late charges. Everyone has had that happen at one time or another.
You can pay them when you get on your feet-just don't get anymore credit anywhere.
If you have to, get Caller ID on your phone and don't answer them till you can make arrangements to payl Sometimes, they'll settle for less money to clear it up.
They aren't allowed to call your work if you request them not to.
Try not to have more credit until this is taken care of, but for now, go on with your life and do the best you can.
God bless you.
