When You Say This Is The End!!!!

Hie friends in christ. One day I was really low I just did not want to talk to anyone. Everything seemed lost and guess what happened a friend emailed me the message below and I felt like sharing this with you. How many things do we take for granted .


YOUR HUT IS BURNING

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and everyday he scanned the horizon for help but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements and in which to store his few possessions. But one day after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up the sky. The Worst had happened ; everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me!" he cried. Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" he asked. "We saw your smoke signal".

Halleluja God is the Greatest!!!!!!!!!. If you are backsliding because you feel God has forsaken you think twice. God has something good for you up His sleeve. Read the following verses.

The hardest thing for us to do is wait for God's time, it never sems to match up with our timing. We want things now and God has reasons beyond our comprehension. I can't count the number of times that I thought that God was not listening or answering my prayers, only to find out down the road what a mistake it would've been if I had my way instead of the way things turned out. I'm getting better at trusting that God is taking care of all of the problems that I lay before Him, the only problem that I really have is that sometimes I'm afraid to ask Him for things because although He answers all prayers, the method in which He provides our needs may be only attained through the hard road. It's like we have to learn something to get what we (think we)want, scary sometimes.
But, make no mistake, even if you have to go the hard road, when you look back, you can see that it was probably the only way to go.
Our God is an Awesome God!

This was right on time!!! Right before I opened up this site I had decided to give up and asked for God to let me know if that's what He wanted me to do. I wanted to know if He wanted me to wait this out or not and He would give me a word tonight if He wanted me to continue to fight the good fight. Lord, since You created me, You know me inside and out. You knew right where I would go to look for You tonight. Lord, I love You.

im not backsliding, but my huts burning. i pray my ship comes in soon.thanks for that post. it kind of reminds us of gods wonderful works.

thanks Alfa~ just what I needed to read~ I have been hit with so much in the past 6 months, it has been quite the challenge... on those days where I don't feel God as much... I know it is something in me, my life, my walk not right... He is there... He is ALWAYS there... Praise God~
