BECAUSE WE DO NOT KNOW
God's children make mistakes
And go off the track, unknowlingly
Because they do not know
The love of a Father
Who embraces them and heals
Even in the midst of their sin
Because HE IS GOD
And HE IS LOVE
And He cares about even the
numbers of hairs on our head
HE JUST KNOWS
As we read the last chapters of the book of Job
We see:
A God who allows suffering
BEYOND MEASURE
To show Himself 'STRONG'
And to test faith
What do we know
Mere mortals..His creation
But "chosen" and dearly loved
What a concept:
Both things are true !
Love and Pain
Only God could have done this
and decided
It was BEST
Not fun or easy
But the BEST
So we can choose
To be faithful, trusting and obedient
Or to leave....It's our choice
Our faith is in God alone
But also in our family
Fractured and broken
But OURS and worthy of our endurance
All working toward truth and love and healing
Wrapped in Grace
From a God who knows, hears, heals, restores, allows
And gets the job done!
In His time and way
Only "HE" knows why and only
HE CAN
Give the Oil of Joy for mourning
The garment of Praise for heaviness
Only Him and us IN HIM
So why not REST....
Even in our pain and sufferng
WHY NOT REST
and Listen...
He will guide
He will comfort
He will provide
Because HE understands
and realizes
" WE DO NOT KNOW "
We just NEED !
