My son Elijah is having surgery on monday

Hello everyone My name Is Jonel and my 3Yr d son Elijah as stage 4 neuroblastoma which is cancer of the sympathetic nervous system.On Monday July 28th he will be having surgery to remove the tumor, left adrenal gland and left kidney. I am posting to ask everyone to pray that the surgery is a complete success and the surgeons are able to remove all of the cancer so it wont come back. And he will be able to live a long happy heathly life

Heavenly Father
Please stand at the side of the surgeon and remove all of this tumor. This is your innocent child as was Jesus, please help him to endure the illness. And help his family to get through this trying time with faith and strength. Our lives on this earth are short and difficult, Lord please give Elijah and his family the power to stand in this storm and fill them with the light of Your healing. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lord, give the doctors wisdom to do what is needed and correctly. Heal this child completely so that he may live a complete and happy life. Put your loving arms around this familyand help them to trust you. Amen

Please help Elijah through his surgery and may it be a success. Please help him to make a complete recovery so that he will be able to lead a full and active life with his family. Please also help his parents get through this difficult time by showing them your love and compassion. God please let this be the cure for him so that he will not have to suffer anymore with this disease. Best Wishes Elijah and Family.

Elijah's went well! The surgeon removed a total of 5 tumors
So far he was able to keep the left kidney but he has to have a kidney function test because it was pancaked between 2 tumors. He also cleaned and biopsied 7 lymph nodes around the tumor site we will have we will get the pathology report from both the lymph nodes and tumors on Friday so we will know the next step to his treatment. He is still in ICU but doing well they took him off the ventilator last night and will be removing the NG tube sometime today.Thanyou all for the prayers I will keep you updated

I'm glad the surgery went well and he is responding. Also, I'm glad he was able to keep his L kidney. I pray that there is good news on Friday!
