strongholds??

I'm trying to do a study on strongholds, but when I went to both my concordance and my Bible dictionary, neither one of them have the word "Stronghold" listed. Yet I know there are mention of strongholds in the Bible. Scriptures have been posted here on this site. Somebody please help!

Break the word up. A stronghold could be something that has a hold on your life, such as alcohol, witchcraft, drugs or anything that you have trouble or find it impossible to break free of. We need Jesus to break the strongholds on our lives that we can't get free of. But we need a strong hold on the word and promisses of god to free us from the strong holds of the devil. Hope this helps. Try looking up "strong" then "hold", and put them together.
