Dear Brotber & Sister,
Greetings to you in the sweet name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
I am Pastor Christopher Rodrick. By God’s grace I am the founder of “Rivers of Life Church” in Pune, India. I would like to share my testimony of the great things that the Lord has done.
I was born and brought up in Mumbai in a Catholic family. I was regular to the Catholic Church but never had a real experience with God. My family under went tremendous torture from the devil. My elder sister, elder brother and younger brother were victims of witchcraft.
Just opposite our house was a temple of the evil goddess Maa Kali and her devote was a witchdoctor who was doing all this black magic on my family. My parents went to every famous Catholic churches and witchdoctors, they offered all kinds of sacrifices to the pagan gods but nothing good happened on the contrary things became worse. My parents say, “They had suffered for more then forty long years.” Our house doors used to open by it’s self at nights, food products just disappeared, mom used to keep the food to cook on the stove and it used to just disappear. The flooring tiles used to go up and down lights would go on and off and bad odor would fill the house. We could hear footsteps following us, the utensils would fall of it’s shelf, and the grains stored in tins would be emptied on the floor and some times the kitchen world be smelling with cigarette smoke. I tell you it was horrific before we allowed Jesus to be our Lord and Savior.
When my sister Gertrude would manifest her eyes would turn red and her head would turn all round as if it had no joint and was fitted on an electric motor and she used to sing songs to the Hindu gods.
When my elder brother Zephyriness used to manifest his teeth used to turn black, his eyes used to turn red and smoke use to come out of his eyes, his hands would twist and feet would turn in the opposite direction he would go violent and even ten people were not able to handle him. He used to manifest daily from 11:00am to 3:30pm and in the night from 11:00pm to 3:30am. I remember one day he took a knife and went to kill my eighteen months old nice and when her father went to save her he stabbed him in the hand and took hold of his hand and suck his blood. It took eight of us to realize his hand. Then the evil in my brother started dancing and the blood that was spilt on the floor he applied on his face and body and said I want to drink the blood of this family for I am send to destroy this house. I will not allow the children to study but destroy every single person in this house.
The children were unable to study or remember their lessons. When they sat down to study they would feel someone is pulling the book from their hand and every time they took the book to study they would fall a sleep. Before we accepted Jesus every one in our house would fall sick turn by turn throughout the year and a lot of money was spent on medication.
When my younger brother Quntin would manifest his face would look very fearful and his hands and legs would twist, there would be a lot of yelling and abusing in our house and we were reduced to poverty with a debt of Rs. 3,00,000.
I began my search for God I was real tired of religion I tried the Christian religion; I tried Hinduism and Islam but did not find God. I wanted to know God personally who He really was. I remember praying this prayer Jesus if You are real then save us from these problems or kill us. My search for God caused me to read the Quran but I did not find God in it. I was desperate to know the true God.
God was faithful and answered my prayer He took me to Dubai on an employment in Princeton Hotel where I worked in the engineering department as a Central Plant technician. It was here that my roommate named David Muhajid Hussein a Muslim convert leads me to Jesus and I was born again.
That same night when I was lying in my bed and praying I was baptized in the Holy Spirit I saw waves of fire pass over me from my head to my toes several times and I felt all the burden leave me I felt like a little child who is care free trusting that his Father will take care of everything concerning him. And I began to speak in unknown tongues I had never heard of the baptism of the Holy Spirit nor any one speak in tongues before because I had never been to any other church other than the Catholic church.
The following Sunday David invited me to his church for fellowship ‘Kings Revival Church International’ – Dubai. I accepted his invitation and went with him to church. At church I experienced the presence of the Lord and felt loved by the brothers in the church. I loved the worship and did not want to stop worshiping the Lord. The following Sunday I was water baptized and since then I attended every meeting that was held at church and grew in faith and the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I began to minister in the labor camps and hospitals in Dubai and the Lord performed many healings and people received Jesus as their personal Savior. My life was changed forever by His grace.
One evening when I was alone in my room in Dubai I heard the Lord call me by name in an audible voice and I then spent time with the Lord and He said to me, “My son go back to India I am going to do great things in your family and through you I will bring the lost and hopeless to Me.” At first I hesitated to leave my job since my parents were in great debts but after three months God gave me the grace to return to India, I had complete peace and no worries of the finical debts I knew God would take care of them. But when I consulted my Pastor he told me to wait on the Lord but I was sure that the Lord had called me I did not need someone to tell me about my calling I knew it for sure. My Pastor said, “I will seek the Lord for you so that you may not take a wrong step.” I said, “Well pastor please do that” and the next Sunday when we met my pastor said, “Son you may go back to India and the Lord is going to use you mightily. Today you are sitting and hearing me preach, the day is coming when you will preach to many and many will be saved.”
When I came to India I learnt that we had lost our house because an underworld group wanted to steal our house. Even the police favored the criminals and all my family members had to leave Mumbai and flee to Pune and live with one of my sister. The condition of my family was very bad they did not have food to eat but lived on rice water. My sister’s relationship with her husband began to become bad since he did not want everyone to stay in his house. We had nowhere to go. [Even if you are in the wilderness there is a place you can go we can always come to the throne of grace that is what I did and the Lord did great miracles in our house.]
Since I was new in Pune I did not know a place of worship so I said to my family we would worship the Lord and get to know Jesus and He will take care of all our problems. Everyday I would hold a service in my sister’s house. On the third day the Lord Jesus delivered all that were possessed by the evil spirits the power of witchcraft was broken and my three brothers, one sister and nieces and nephews were born-again and baptized in the Holy Spirit later they received water baptism. The neighbors also began to attend the services.
On the 16th of Feb. 1996 at 6:00 am my elder sister who did not receive the Lord became a target of witchcraft and fell dead. Everyone at home were crying and yelling while I was in a closed room worshiping the Lord. In that time of fellowship with the Lord, the Lord said to me, “I will raise her back to life just do as I say.” I came out from my prayer room into the room where my elder sister’s body lied and asked everybody to stop crying and leave the room only my mother; another sister and brother-in-law remained with me in the room. I worshiped the Lord and lifted the dead body and commanded life to come and she became alive she recently gave birth to a sweet baby girl.
God has restored back our house to my parents they have sold it and brought one in Pune. Every one in my family is now settled. I have chosen to serve the Lord Jesus in Pune and am living in a rental house with my wife Mary, my nine months son Joshua and my mother-in-law. I got married on 03rd Dec. 2000 to Mary who had no one except Jesus and her mother. Now my mother-in-law, Mary and myself are serving the Lord fulltime. We are so glad that even at this young age Joshua lifts up his hands and claps his hands in worship to the Lord when he hears songs of worship and praise.
Our ministry is among the people of the slums and villages that are not reached with the gospel of Jesus. Among the sick and the street beggars. We reach out no the streets and door to door with the grace and love of Jesus and the good Lord has healed many sick even an Aid patient, a mad man named Indrajeet who used to roam on the streets of Viman Nagar was delivered and is now in his right mind. He now has many friends who takes care of his needs. The Lord has delivered many people that have been victims of the devil. I also travel to different states of India to preach the gospel of grace. (The finished work of Jesus Christ our Lord)
At present we are ministering in two villages in Pune - Vadgoan Sheri and Wagholi. The people in the village Wagholi has not heard about Jesus. This entire village is spread with temples and Mosque and witchdoctors but there is not a single church in this village.
Now the village people are getting to know the Lord and are being delivered and saved. The population of this village is more than 1,00,000 people. In this village there is no school that we can rent for the Sunday service. There is a marriage hall but the rent is too high Rs. 3000:00 per day. We believe God will give us the necessary finances to buy a piece of land and construct a church in this village.
One of the great things that the Lord has done in the village of Wagholi is the deliverance of a women named Kunda who was a target of witchcraft and used to roam the streets like a mad women abusing and throwing stones on people that passed by. For ten long years she did not have a bath or changed her temple clothes that she wore, she did not brush her teeth or have food; all she had was tea, water and tobacco. She lived out side her house in summer, winter or monsoons. But one fine day when we went to this village we just stood there and prayed, “Lord Jesus please show us the hearts that You have prepared and the house You want us to go.” And in a moment the Lord showed me a vision of a pink house I turned around and saw that house at a little distance from where we were standing. So we went to that house and ministered to them. The mother of this woman was unable to hear so I prayed for the mother and the Lord opened her ear and that household was saved and the Lord in a process of time delivered Kunda.
We cut her hair and changed her (saree) clothing with a new one and gave her some more changes since she only wore the temple clothing. We took her temple clothing and all the evil charm items and burnt it. She has been delivered and is now normal.
Witchcraft is practiced on a large scale in this village and many, many people are possessed by demons. The Lord has given us this great commission to preach the gospel and set the captive free. “And He (Jesus) said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
The Lord said to me “I am raising people all over the world who will stand with you with their prayers, resources and finances to bring the lost souls back to Me.”
Please pray for my family and the ministry in the congregation there are people who are jobless and unable to find a good job, as they are uneducated. They stay in rental houses, unable to have two times proper meals and education for they children. There is also a sister and her two children who comes from the Muslim family and is removed from home along with her children for reason of her accepting Jesus.
Please pray for our urgent need
1) 50,000 Bibles in Marathi.
2) Finances to purchase a land and build a church in Wagholi village.
3) Finances to purchase a land and build a church in Viman Nagar a hall that can accommodate 5000 people for that is our vision from the Lord .
4) A four-wheeler to carry us into the village and the people to church as there is no public transport into this village.
5) Finances to pay our house rent and worship hall rent since four months rent is pending.
6) A house of our own to live in.
7) Prayer and financial support to carry on this ministry of the Lord.
Dear Joyce I am sowing few seeds in your ministry as I take hold of Gods Word. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, have an abundance for every good work.” 2 Cor. 9:8
Beloved of God, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep preaching Jesus. Mary & I always pray for you since we have heard of you. Be blessed always.

I bring Praise and Thanksgiving for what i have just learned of my brother Rodrick. Father, Mighty is YOUR NAME Lord i am honored to be ale to pray for such a man of Faith! Thank You Jesus, for doing miricals and mighty works in his family and for all those he touches!
Father, draw to his side mighty warriors to aid him in the work YOU have called him to do for YOU. Lay it upon the hearts of all brothers and sisters on this board to pray for them. The battles are many, i didnot realize Lord, because i have never walked in this mans shoes. I take for granted the provisions and blessings YOU have given us in America, and i ask forgiveness. What a testimony! Lord, Pour out the Anointing Power of the Holy Spirit upon this man and all he touches. Fire, Lord Fire upon him! Jesus to the left of him to the right- to the north and to the south! Let all thoes demons fear his comming and run for fear, that such an anointed man of God has come their way. Continue to bless his path and order his steps today. Jesus, bless him exceedingly abondantly above all he ask for and all he needs. Order angles of the Highest of the Host to be with him in all he does. Keep his heart right before you, that no fear enter in. I plea the blood of Jesus over him and his family. I ask that YOU dieiver into his hands, as many as will come.Open the hearts of the rich to give unto him and make the heathen his reward!! PRAISE PRAISE AND GLORY- HOLY IS YOUR NAME!!!
