pre-mission prayers needed

Please pray for me to do God's will for missionary work...regardless of what my parents think. Especially pray for me regarding China, that I would hear God's will. And that I would be obedient to the point of death. I KNOW I have some dying to do yet.

And please pray for my parents, that they would come to the Lord better...and that they would trust what He is doing in my heart. Right now, none of what I share with them makes any sense. They get angry and yell and speak badly about my church and my friends.

I'm peaceful about this, for the first time in my life. But it also makes me sad.

Lord, I pray that Melanie will open her heart fully to you and allow you to guide her on her missionary work. Lord deliver her from grief and guilt that is filling her life because she has chosen to follow you. Lord I pray that you give her the strenght to see through this difficult time and follow what you tell her to do. Lord I pray that you speak to her parents hearts and allow them to understand that you are working in Melanie's life and it is a GOOD thing. Lord, take away the pain they may be feeling at the thought of losing their daughter. In Jesus name I pray, AMen

Jesus, Please show Melanie the path that she should follow, especially reguarding China. Show her where her mission lies and equip her with all the skills neccessary to show Your love, healings and miracles.
Help her to cast all her cares onto You, to trust You with all her heart, defying logic and in true Faith, however obscure and however menial her task or however powerful and reverant.

Please have a little chat with her parents, and help them to realise how deeply she is convicted to the Lord. Bring peace and comfort into their lives that they may be a source of support and guidence to strengthen Your mighty servant Melanie.
