Introduce yourself

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Shawn

We receive so many new members each day I thought it would be really nice to have an area for them to introduce themselves so I am starting a new forum just for this purpose here.

If you are a new member, we would love to hear from you. Just a quick note, letting us know who you are, where your from, your interests, what brought you here, or anything else you would like to talk about.

It's not a necessary step, but I believe that it will become a feature that our prayer warriors really enjoy, and will help you to meet our members much easier.

hello everybody! i'm sorry i was in such a hurry to post in my prayer request last night when i first signed up. I am so thankful to the Lord God for the message of faith He has sent in the form of this website.

i'm in dire need of prayers and guidance. i'm the elder of two daughters of a widow. my beautiful mother is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to the liver and is threatening to spread to her brains. my family and i need peace and wisdom that comes only from the Holy Spirit so that we may be able to endure this test of faith. for i know that we have little faith, and we're at the end of our rope.

i also ask for your prayers for my spiritual healing. this lost soul desperately needs to go home.

thanks a lot to all you beautiful souls. God bless you all!

Hi my name is Darlene, I live in Powell River, B.C., I was born in Newfoundland. I am 40 years old. Seven years ago I was in two serious car accidents and had to move home from Vancouver to live with parents. My husband and I separated just over a year ago.
I was severely injured and have been fighting for my life. My nervous system is overtaxed. I live with unbearable pain. I am extremely weak, dizzy and feel like I am going to pass-out quite often when I stand-up. It's been a long long rough rough rough road. I know I am alive today by the grace of God.

This is a wonderful site. Thank you for your prayers. It brightens my day to see all the kindness, thoughtfulness and prayers of fellow brothers and sisters to each other. I have also been offering words of encouragement to others which gives me great joy to be able to do when I can.

Thank you all and may God bless you and enrich all of your lives and I pray he heals us all spiritually, mentally and physically.

Hi, my name is Sue I live in Massachusetts. This is a wonderful idea. I like the fact that there is a place to come to when we are in need of fellewship. May God bless you and all your works.

I am so glad that this area is becoming so popular!
To our new members, a warm welcome, and to our long term warriors, thank you for saying hello to the new members.
I would ask of our long term prayer warriors, and anyone else interested, to please check this area often and to welcome our new members to the website. We get so many people in desperate need, that come in post their prayer request, and we don't hear back from them. If we all just spend a little bit of time trying to get to know everyone, then I'm sure those in need will stick around and also pray for others.
I kind of look at it like going to a new church for the first time. It's so hard to get to know people, especially if your a little shy. We can become the "greeters" at the door that welcome all people into the house of the Lord. I know that at least for me, when people took the time to at least say hello, and to welcome me in, that I felt 100% more relaxed and comfortable. Let's continue to do the same here. Afterall, what are we here for but to pray for others needs, and to get to know our fellow christian brothers and sisters.

What a wonderful way of looking at things.

Hi, My name is Dan,

I stumbled across this message board about 10 minutes ago cruising
through a Google search for intercessary prayer regarding marriage,
divorce, and adultery.

I've been an intercessor for many years and attended an Indonesian
church for many years and met my wife through my Indonesian
roommates. We married at the end of 1990 and had a beautiful
daughter in 1993. Sadly, tragedy hit and my wife, suffering a mental
illness fell into rebellion and sin, and she divorced me for someone else.
I, too, had serious problems with my relationship with the Lord, but
through the pain, I learned to feel a little of the pain Jesus suffered
for me while I was unfaithful to Him. I learned about the victory and
freedom that praising and thanking God in the midst of pain can bring.

I started a website partly because I needed to do so for my own healing, but my passion has been to bring healing and stability to marriage once again. I see a common set of lies and excuses shared by most adulterers promoted by many liberals, divorce attorneys, dishonest judges, psychologists and such.

Lately, I've been feeling strongly that weak evangelism and strongholds
that are left unchallenged and unbroken are responsible for much of the
divorce in the world today. Many feel saved while living in adultery,
and that should not be. There are strongholds that tell people, "all you
have to do is point your head down and look at your toes and recite
a sinner's prayer and you're saved--that's what faith is all about."

When the Lord bring conviction to the sinner under conviction that
perhaps this is not what faith is all about, he is often told that he is
sinning to doubt God--God told him he is saved and that's all there is
to it. Yet, in the Bible, Jesus asks, "Why do you call me Lord, Lord but
do not do what I say?" And, "Not everyone who says Lord, Lord will
be saved."

I sense the presense of a legion of demons watching and salivating
over the chance to leap onto any person and gnaw, rape, and torment
that person in an expression of hatred toward God. They're waiting
and hoping and striving to develop the very best deceptions that will
be most effective in leading people to hell, and they're having much
success. Perhpas this is not so much because they are getting
stronger or greater in number, but rather it may because we are wimping
out in battle spiritually. We're weakening ourselves with sin, neglect
of the word, and neglect of prayer.

We need a swift kick and a fresh anointing, and we need to get into
service, and so I am thankful that this web site is here encouraging
and supporting the best!

Dan

My name is Mary, I'm 36, 2 kids, trying to be happy with my life even though I have depression. I work nights. I am unhappily married at the present time. I witnessed His love today when I was at the ocean and I got a table by the window. I thank Him all the time for small things like that.

This is the right place to come to receive love and support from your brothers and sisters. The Lord is here, and i'm sure you will feel that.
God bless all of you.

Everyone in my family was confused, lost, depressed, just all sorts, as you could just imagine.
Also, my immidiate family has had financial problems for almost a year now and i also prayed about that matter....

I am not sure that I know how to use this site as I am not too computer savy, but I am trying hard to figure this out. I love to hear the responses to prayer here, there are many amazing prayer warriors! I hope this gets posted! If you could, I would ask that all pray for my mother who is having stomach problems, I am waiting now for the Doctor to call. Pray the Lord give me a double blessing this year. I can use all the help I can get. Thank you.

I'm glad you found our site. We have a lot of really good prayer warriors here. Curious what part of the panhandle you are from, we've been to amarillo, borger, dalhart, dumas, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others, to hold revival services.

Hello to everyone. I am new to the group. I have a variety of interests, such as books, music, crafts, movies and my two dogs.
I used to work in adult day care, specializing in those with Alzheimers and/or memory loss.
I am a pisces, born in feb. I have a tender but very caring heart, and love to play. I was a single parent for alot of years, and am close to my kids who are now grown and I'm now 42 lol.
I hope I'm doing this correctly. I guess you could say I need a few prayers. I'm horribly lonely, and quite lost. I have been for quite some time now.

Hi, my name is Bruce. I joined this prayer board in December of last year. I was seeking prayer for a friend. I liked this place so much I decided to stay a while. I haven't been here much lately, and I have missed it. I am back!

I just want everyone to know that this is an awesome place to be. Prayer has changed my life, and it will change yours also. Look at the story of Job--the Lord blessed him twice as much as he had before, as soon as he started praying for others!

I lost a house, my fiancee, my business, my job, etc, but through it all I have found a relationship with the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings!

While I was out of work and money, I found out that I could serve our Savior here in the comfort of my own home. It is not only my duty but my privilege to be able to pray for the needs of others.

I know and it has been proven to me this year alone with blessings financially that I did not know about, that as we go about God's business He will go about ours! Praise God!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the welcome. I find this site to be such a blessing. This is a place where I can come and ask for prayers and to pray for others. I have decided that praying for others is better than wallowing in self pity. I pray for my church family but there are times when personal things cannot be shared so it is good to be able to come to this site.

Hi Shawn and everyone at this forum,

My name is Marybeth and I'm from New York. I came to this site to ask for prayers for my brother who is sick.
Billy has stage IV malignant melanoma and he is gravely ill. I feel in my heart that prayer is our only hope and that is why I keep putting the message out there in the hopes that God will restore my brother to good health. I simply don't know what else to do. I'm not really sure that God is listening to me because I haven't done my best for him but maybe God will find favor with one of you and answer your prayer for my Billy. I lost my Dad when I was five and my brothers are all very special to me. I feel like a part of me is dying and I am helpless to do anything about it. My heart is breaking...God help us all.

Blessings,
Marybeth

Yes Lord, we agree together now for total and complete healing for Billy. By your stripes, he is healed!!

Hi Marybeth, I'm Lara.

I want to encourage you. Now's the time to press in like never before. Strengthen your walk with the Lord with prayer and worship. He is closer than your next breath. Don't believe the lies of the enemy, the Lord will never leave us or forsake us. There is also power in agreement, and I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi Lara,

Thank you for your reply and you are right. I need to really believe and get stronger in my faith and I am trying real hard. It seems the harder I try the more evil tries to get in my way but I won't quit on God. He is my only hope.

Bless you!

God IS listening to you. I believe he will answer you,"yes", "no" or "not now" but he will answer. Don't worry about "doing your best". He's not the kind of God who gives out brownie points. Just keep praying and listening.

I am also new to this site. I am sorry to hear that you are going through some trying times, Candace. I heard a quote once that I thought was quite comforting, it is, "if God brought you to it, He will bring you through it". All of us go throught trying times in our lives. I think that this is when God is testing our faith. He wants us to cast all of our cares and burdens upon Him, and trust that He will bring us through. I don't know what it is that you are going through, but I do know that nothing is too great that the Lord cannot handle. Remember that He loves and cares about you,Candace, and knows all about the problem that you are going through. He wants you to give it to Him. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast thy burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you..." I will definitely keep you in my prayers, and, I am here for you, if you need me.

Hi MrGhost(??)
There are many, many sites here for marriage restoration- so you came to the right place.
Many marriages have been helped by coming here for prayer and yours will too.
God will help you-just hang in there and believe!
A lot of times it helps just to talk and know other people are out there who are going through exactly what you are.
Come here often- and welcome.
You will be heard and prayed for.
Love a friend in Jesus,
Annie

It is so-o-o important to keep your eyes fixed on God. Also remember that when your looking up to also open your ears and listen to God so he can direct you around any obstacles.

I pray that God will grant you some peace in the midst of all the kaos. I also pray that God sort out all of these challenges and work with you in resolving them (according to his Will).amen

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am a great gramy of 9 and I am 75 years young have 3 sons and a daughter. I am in our praise & worship team in our church, and volunteer in the office. I also assign people to prepare Communion , 2 x's a month.
I came here to your board because I would like prayer to be moved closer to my family, as soon as possible, to be at least within shouting distance, right now I am 120 miles away. I am widowed 3 years come Oct 2004.
I would like to sell my mobile home for what I bought it for and buy one at least the year or better for less, and in great condition. [ a 3 br.] and have a really nice park with not very high rent, to live in near a great full gospel church, [ which I have in mind. ]
This is an urgent prayer.
God richly Bless all and thank you for agreeing with me in prayer.

Hello:
I'm new to your site. I've recently posted a couple of prayer requests in hopes of a response. I may be long-winded, but just for this posting. I don't mean to be self-centered, but I feel as though I could benefit from assisted prayers, other than my own, especially at this time. Feeling alone is something I never wanted to feel, and so, I hope you will take a minute to offer a prayer for me and my relationship with my spouse and the safety of our children. I know that my spouse is a non-believer in Christ, but he always knew and understood that I am a believer in God, Jesus Christ & The Holy Spirit. Belief & Faith in God, Son of God, Jesus Christ & The Holy Spirit is something I've always had as long as I can remember! I'm not really sure that I know how to pray the right way or exactly which verses in the Bible I can look to for comfort. I somehow end up repeating the same 2 or 3 prayers I know by heart til I fall asleep.

I just know that my family and I need spiritual healing and guidance in the right direction as quickly as possible. My spouse's behavior at times gets down right schizophrenic and my children constantly argue, complain and hardly content. How I desperately sought a special love like the former First Lady & President Reagan, but by deception I ended up with exactly the opposite from my spouse.

I get angry alot because of it and because of the hurt, and I pray and ask God daily to help me temper myself and stand up tall and face my many, many sins; i.e., starting with ridding myself of the anger and to practice perserverence, patience & strength through it all.

Are you a Pastor? Do you think any of my requests will be answered on this Board?

I can't say all that much more at this time besides, 'Hello' and 'God Bless Everyone', including those who do not believe, for they are the ones that actually need Him the most and ought to seek him A.S.A.P., because if I am fortunate enough to get to where I want to be, then I hope to have the people that I love and care deeply for, nearby, with me, and in the same place.

Sincerely,

NeverAlone

HI, I have posted a few prayer request already so I am not that new but I feel like I need to introduce myself. My name is Susan and I have 5 sons and 1 daughter. I also want to thank everyone for their prayers. I recently rededicated my life to the Lord. I had been living with a man in sin and I asked him if he would consider us not having relations any more and just living together as friends. He told me no that if I didnt want to have relations with him I must leave. So I am moving this week to one of my sons homes along with my youngest and my daughter. He also told me that he doesnt believe in God or what the Bible has to say about the marriage bed being undefiled but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. He told me that I have changed and he feels like our relationship is over. I have been praying for all soulish ties to be broken between me and this man. Please pray for this man for his salvation. His name is Clark. I also ask that if the Lord leads anyone that they would pray for me and my children as we go into this new place in our lives. It is very scary to me to be out on my own. I was married for 29 years and have no real job skills. Thank you for reading this and God bless.

My name is Charles. I live in the Washington, USA in the area of Lake Stevens. Yes it rains but when it's sunny there's no nicer place to live.

I've been separated from my wife for about a year and am trusting the Lord to bring about a change in both of our lives. I've been asking the Lord to look at me/start with me. Life is too short to live for oneself. I miss my friend dearly but I know that Jesus misses us both more. He's becoming everything to me. It's been a blessing to come across this website. Blessing's also to Jerry and his entire family and staff.

Hi, everyone, it's nice to meet each of you! I have been at this board for a few months, but moreso lately. One could spend hours here! I have been a Christian for five years, even though I was raised in a family, who attended church every Sunday and I learned all the stories about Jesus when I was growing up. I invited Him into my heart when I was about 10, but I never had a personal relationship with Him until I was in my late 20s. God pulled me up out of a very difficult time in my life when I got saved, and He carried me through some very emotionally painful situations in my life. I am so grateful for His love and faithfulness or I would not be where I am today. I was blessed with the gift of intercessory prayer three years ago and really enjoy praying for people.

I sing in the choir at my church and have sung some solos. I took voice lessons in high school and college, but never enjoyed it because I struggled for the tone and voice quality. However, after I got saved, God blessed me with a singing voice, which everyone compliments me on. I love to sing now, with range between tenor and first soprano (!) and I use my voice to glorify God. I am involved in two Bible studies and enjoy learning about Jesus more personally. I am also blessed by fellowshipping with other believers in my church, my community, and right here on the Internet.

I have "met" many wonderful Christian people on the Internet and look forward to meeting more.

I work with people from many different nations, mostly Asia, at my job, so am along side Muslims, Hindus, Islams, etc. I am blessed by getting to know them and their cultures, hearing them speak their own language. However, I am persecuted by company management, which prohibits talk about God or Jesus at work, the celebration of Christmas (we can only say "holiday"), or any other Christian holiday. However, there have been opportunities for me to plant faith seeds by sharing about Jesus at work, and I say, "Merry Christmas," because Christmas is NOT a "holiday!" The company also embraces gay/lesbian lifestyle, co-habitation, provides domestic partner benefits, and other things that are destructive of marriage, as ordained by God. Despite all that, I do the best I can each day to be a reflection of Jesus to all those around me. No one has stopped me for talking about Jesus at work, when the opportunities have come up. If they do and I get fired, so be it. I will be serving the Lord and being obedient to Him. I am able to listen to Christian radio and my Christian music CDs at work on headphones, so that is a blessing!

May God bless you all as we support each other in prayer and friendship.

In Christ,
JC's girl (Jesus Christ's girl)

Hello to everyone. I am new to this website. My name is Kathleen and I live in Dallas, Texas. I have been reading many postings on this board and though I can't reply to them all, I do lift up all the needs to our Jesus.

For those of you who are suffering with pain I want to encourage you in two ways. First, I do believe in divine healing and I know that faith pleases God so keep trusting Him in this area. I have seen many miracles and can testify that He is still the same today as He was when He walked the earth, AMEN?

Secondly, I want to share something I have learned to do with suffering which I don't believe negates our faith to believe God for miracles. Remember we don't know God's timing. I choose to offer up my suffering for the benefit of someone else. Perhaps you know someone who needs salvation, or even their own healing. I believe we can receive the suffering in our life and offer it up to God asking Him to apply His grace on someone else because of our suffering.

Think about it for just a moment. Isn't that what Jesus really did? He is God and He could have removed the suffering but instead he accepted it for the benefit of us. Praise you Jesus for that! And what better calling on our life than to immitate our Lord and Saviour.

We too, can offer up our suffering for the benefit of others. I have seen God time and time again honor this attitude. I do not believe for a moment that by choosing to accept my suffering and offer it to God for the benefit of someone else means that I do not have faith that He will heal. I have just come to realize that I do not want to waste the suffering when I could be using it as a sacrifice to Him for the benefit of someone else.

I do pray and believe for your divine healing, so while you wait for God's timing, allow him to receive your suffering as an offering for the benefit of someone else. Remember that our rewards in Heaven are much more important and last for eternity. Can you receive a small portion of the suffering that Christ took for us, for someone elses benefit? I know you can because He lives in you and in Him you CAN DO ALL THINGS!

In my prayers,
Kath

Amy, first of all, God loves you no matter how many times you sin. And there is an acception to the whole divorce thing in the Bible. He stated that if there is an adulterin the marriage than divorce can be accepted, also, if there is a long absence. I take that to mean, prison time, or he/she up and left and never returned. Anyways, hon what I'm tryin to say, is that you did not commit an unforgivable sin. If you confess your sin and repent, then the Lord will forgive and better yet, He FORGETS, which is something we humans are guilty of NOT doing. You are commiting a sin now, which is living with your boyfriend, but it also, is not unforgivable. I am in no way judging you, either. I, myself, have had 2 children out of wedlock, and I know that my Lord and Savior has forgiven me, and knowing that itself, makes me feel great! I know what you mean about not being able to forgive yourself. I have been there. But, if you pray, and I will pray, too for the Lord to give you the ability to realize that you are human and you do make mistakes, and for Him to give you the abilty to forgive yourself, He will grant you that! You just have to keep praying, and seeking Him! That is all He wants, is for us to put Him first! Well, I hope all that I have shared with you was helpful. I will pray for you, now, hon, ok?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Father, I first of all want to praise you for sending Amy to this site to seek after You and Your truth, Father. Father, I just ask that you give Amy the ability to forgive herself, Father. please, in Your sweet voice tell her, I Forgave You. It is now time for you to forgive yourself. Please help her to come the realization that we are oinly human and that will succumb to the flesh from time to time, but if we seek You, You will be there to pick up the pieces. Father, I just pray that You wrap Your arms around her and let her know that she is loved! Father, I just pray that Amy has on overwhelming, hunger for Your truth. That she has a thirst that she just can't quench, until she seeks Your face! Praise you Father!!! In Your sweet and Holy Name I pray, AMEN AMEN AMEN

Hello-

My name is Nancy, and I am from New England-
I am very pleased to have found this forum- I know enough about God's love to know that coming here was no accident.)

I have a deep faith and love for God- It has been enriched by the many trials and triumphs I have had throughout my life, and I am fortunate to belong to a prayer group in my parish, and have the love a large family- and many prayerful friends. I have two beautiful daughters- one 19, and one age 6-

I am hungering for a deeper union with God- and looking forward to making new spiritual cyber buddies- I had belonged to another spiritual group that recently disbanded- and was saddened to miss the comraderie-

I came here looking for others to pray with me- for my husband and my marriage- and myself as there is always two sides to everything- (newly married- and having serious troubles already)- I know my husband believes in God- but is having difficulty surrendering his will to God- he is afraid to trust and even though our courtship, he seemed to open up his heart wide to me, it soon slammed shut after we married.

Just looking around at some of the other posts, I know that my sufferings are small in comparison- but I am one of God's children, and I am standing- no- kneeling in the need of prayer-

I thank you for your prayers in advance- I will include this forum in mine-

Hi. I'm 44 and married 11 years. My wife has a few medical conditions and no insurance on her. She is not able to work and we cannot afford her insurance, (un)fortunately, I am covered at work at no cost. How much more suffering will she have to endure?

My prayer for the upcoming election of the President is that the right person is elected, not the one that I think I want there.

Greetings Everyone!

I am excited to be among people whom I perceive to be willing to share their heart and the Word of God which is so important. You may notice that I love the Word of God, therefore I like to be known as ScriptureLady!

Well, I live in a very small state. I have been blessed with a husband, who is a pastor, whom I love very much, and who loves me also. We have been married just since August 20th, 2003. This is the husband that I waited on for four years. But he was well worth the wait!

I have one daughter, who is also a Christian. My husband has six children. He was recently widowed. Thank God, all the children are grown up.

We belong to a Petecostal church. I was raised in church and have spent most of my life in church. My daughter was raised in church also. I am 53 years old. I love the Lord, His Word, and His people. I work on the weekend because my boss made it MANDATORY! I am not happy with this.
But, I thank the Lord Jesus, that at least I do have a job. I ask that you would pray for My husband and me that we will always be obedient to the Lord. I will try to post prayer requests on the appropriate page sometimes this weekend.

I thank the Lord for this Christian Website. It is such a blessing to me, I have been off the internet for over a year, until recently our job has allowed us to have access to the internet at work. A friend that I met through email, sent this Website to my Inbox. I truly believe it was the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in my eyes. This was like a sign to me, when I saw the birthday default was the exact date that was put on my registration of birth, which was incorrect, and I had to write into the issuing office that the date which was used was incorrect. But, it amazes me how awesome God is sometimes.

I'm sorry if I took up too much space. I will understand if you must edit this post. Thanks so much for being here. I confess that I am very happy to be back among those that are sanctified. I had forgotten the websites that I used to access, and I was just "wandering in the wilderness" so to speak, because I didn't know which way to go.

Thank you for being obedient to the Lord and staying faithful to him.

Hello, everyone. I am Christian mom, a stay at home mother of one precious lil girl...my true miracle baby! Well, she just turned 3 years old, so not so much a baby anymore....but you know what I mean! I have been saved 12 years and married 12 years. Can't say my walk with the Lord or marriage has been a picnic the whole time, but it certainly is never boring! haha.
I've been going thru alot of physical and emotional pain lately. I too suffer from depression, which gets to be debilitating sometimes, as I know there are those of you who go thru the same thing. But no matter how long the walk, or painful each step might be, I will never give up.
I love to make new friends, so if you ever see me around, say "hey"!
God bless you and keep you, according to His perfect will

Hello ma,

One thing that has encouraged me is fighting the enemy at the gate. When you feel depression coming on, rebuke it. Right then and there. The first time it tries to come around, fight it at the beginning. Don't feel blue for a few days and then resist, no begin to reject it the very first minute. Say the Word, use the Sword of the Spirit against depression, marriage problems, etc. etc. Also praying with your spouse helps too.

Hello! My name is Melody, I live in a small town in Ohio. I am trying to prepare for higher education at Trinity Bible College for work in the Kingdom. I thank God for people like you, knowing I can pray and express my love for Jesus and the Word--without it being called to my attention, how I am a Jesus Freak, taking it too far, letting religion run my life, etc. When my first and foremost goals are to seek Him that has saved me, praying for Him to take me as far as He will and for Him to run my life. My heart is concerned for the people that are unable to feel God and His beauty when I know it is just for the asking and speaking of His Name. People who have known me, remember the old me better than I do moreso, than who God is making me to be. The old life I had, seems to have been a thousand years ago. I have battled suicide, depression, eating disorder, chronic social anxiety, several phobias to extreme, which ended in alcohol and drug abuse off and on for many years. (I still have trouble with social anxiety.) Thank You, Jesus! Until that great day when I finally turned to the Lord whole heartedly. He is a healing God! I was on my way to the bathtub where I thought the mess would be contained-I was going to cut, following every vien and artery that I could see through my skin with razorblade in hand. It was as if God pushed me to the floor, I was crying uncontrollably. He quieted me,( I felt like I had jumped into a giant bowl of warm pudding, chocolate and without the mess) and He kept telling me, "NO MORE." I had fallen to sleep in that same spot on the floor and awoke several hours later to His voice, "NO MORE." That has been almost two years ago, He has given me life and I have saturated it with Him through prayer, the Word, spirit-filled music and attending services,(even when I don't feel like it). It is beyond Amazing that He came to me and I will never forget it, even in the discouraged times. And I know there is NO turning back-there is nothing to turn back to. I am so blessed, He changed me and now I only have the desire to go forward in Him with a God-given hunger and peace that only He can give, just for the asking Him. These days when they call me the "Church lady" or "Jesus Freak", I just say Thank you and pray God to reveal more of His truth and beauty to me, to them and to all. Thank you for a place to share His Great Works. This website helps me focus on-- more of Him and less of me-To keep my mind in His Spirit and not solely, in the natural world. I know God is concerned for our grief, crisis and human condition which keeps us praying and helps us grow and be closer to Him. Thank you so much for the opportunity to pray in agreement with all of you and to be prayed for. I need prayer for direction of employment and many other things. God be with us always and bless you!

Hello Melody,

Welcome to the board. You will find many here who will love you as much as you love them. Thank you for introducing yourself and allowing us the opportunity to get to know you. Thank you for your post as it reminded me of things I needed to be mindful of in my own walk with Jesus Christ. I look forward to praying with you and for you.

Father, I ask you now to give Melody direction in regards to employment; give her discernment in the areas of her life in which she may be concerned and help give her insight as to what you would have her do. I lift her up to you that she may continue to have YOUR light about her so that others may see her example and want the light of your love in their own lives as they see it reflected in her eyes. May those who know the "old" her be able to see the change and let go of the past and be thankful for the changes you are making in her. May the things of old be long forgotten as she is a new child and spirit thru the changes you are making in her. SATAN, in the name of JESUS CHRIST, I command you to leave Melody's life and not return. Your plans and devils are not welcome and you must leave her be. Father, wash her in your Holy Spirit so she may be sanctified and covered in your love. I ask these things in the name of JESUS CHRIST, your holy and precious son. AMEN

Posted by: miame

Hi Johnny,
You and your family are in my prayers. Galatians 6:9 Don't get tired of doing what is good, Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvast of blessing at the appropriate time.

Ecclesiastes 2:23 (My) Their days of labor are filled with pain and grief;even at night they cannot rest. It is all utterly meaninglessness. Here is my conviction. I was shopping at GoodWill few weeks ago. My son threw his hat up and that was last we saw it. I searched over the section we were in, went up a few row didn't see it. I fussed at him something like "Andrew, pointing my finger and adding a pitch to my voice, that was a good hat, a warm one, it looked so cute on you. O well you lost it. Some time during our drive home a friendly visit from the Holy Spirit. A Hat...you were in GoodWill millions of other hats, how do you know he lost the hat, could have given it away. ...I sometimes lose my temper when I'm embarrassed-is that wrong?
Numbers 22:29 "you have made me look like a fool!" Balaam shouted. Embarrassment is often the result of wounded pride. When we are embarrassed, we, should ask if we need to learn something. I will be praying for you I broke-down and is still being broken by the Lord.

Hi my name is Debbie, I am new to this although i have read most of the prayer requests on the site.

I have recently asked our Lord Jesus Christ to come into my life and have asked him to completly change me into what he first created me to be. I always believed that i was a good persn until my third marriage ended with a seperation. I always found it so much easier to blame than to take the blame and now i have asked the our Lord to take the speck from my own eye so that i can face what i had become, which was, jealous, hateful, mistrusting, paraniod and argumentative. I allowed the devil to run me and my emotions.
I battle constantly every day to change my way of behaving and thinking but i have trust in the Lord that he will turn me around and i will become what he wants me to be.
This is truely a wonderful site that gives me encouragement every day...I look forward every morning to switching on my computer.
I love you all and i thank god for you.
Praise the Lord.
God bless you all.

Hello! I am from a very small town and am still trying to comprehend the fact that there are thousands of people here praying for common things! I live in a very oppressed area of Colorado - The San Luis Valley. There are so many demonic forces here and weird religions! My husband and I are new youth leaders - God told us both the same day what to do and where to go, so we just sort of got thrown in and THANK GOD!!! My sister, brother and I have been praying for 10 years for our Father's salvation and now that he knows the Lord, He is always helping us, guiding us (He insisted upon our coming to this website) preparing lessons for us! He studies more than anyone I know!!! When someone brings up a question about the bible that he is unsure of, He will go to work and not rest till he finds the answers! Sometimes only a few hours, but sometimes days, but the great thing about it is that I can trust him in anything because the Lord speaks to him and HE LISTENS! He is a man I respect more than anyone I know and I'm not just saying that because he is my father. If anyone knows him, they know he is full of love just like our Heavenly Father! I guess the reason I'm describing him is that He's been here longer than me, and if you know him, I'm a lot like him. I also wanted to thank everyone here who spends time praying for other people! That is great!

eagle4him'sDaughter..Welcome to the board. Isn't this a wonderful place..I know you were directed here by the Holy Spirit just as I was. It is wonderful reading about your father and finding the Lord. God works in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform! I look forward to reading your posts.

Debbie: It is wonderful you found this board. You will be blessed as you visit. It is always amazing to me when I ask God to show me who I really am, I am not always willing to take a good hard look but when I finally do, He is there with me and new beginnings take place. I am so happy for you as it appears the Holy Spirit has turned the light on and wrapping you in His ultimate love. God bless you and please continue to post.

Hi! I'm Brian. In recent days, I've started searching the Web for good Christian sites, praying to God to bring some to me. I believe this is one very good one.

I live in Minnesota and enjoy God's outdoors. I've enjoyed years of ministries and writing God has done thru me.

God has recently Blessed me with a small engine buisness. Tho I could use prayer about this. Even tho God Blessed the buisness with very good customers and alot of work to start with, unusaul season operations, have now seriously hampered the normal income seen thru the winter period. Thus, I ask for prayers to God to restore income to a level to bring us out of debt and on solid ground again.

Thank you and God Bless all of you!

I just wanted to say hello to you and welcome you to the board. You will find many great prayer warriors, to include your father here. Your father is respected, liked and very much loved as one of the leaders and moderators on the board. His compassion for others, especially for those who are truly seeking the LORD, shows thru in every message he posts. I hope and pray you will allow each of us the opportunity to get to know you better. Again, welcome to the family.

P.s. you will find we are definitely a family here; we have our moments of spats in which we may not agree with one another,or moments when we all get goofy or a bit crazy, but there is definitely an abundance of love, and in the end, when anyone of us needs each other, we are there without hesitation. So again, welcome to the family.

Brian and Debbie,

just wanted to welcome you both to the board as well. As Sunny said; you will be blessed as you continue to visit and as you post. Open yourself up to GOD's love from the many prayer warriors here. You will find one of the greatest bodies of JESUS CHRIST here among the people who visit the board on a regular basis. I am sure others will agree with me when I state that we all look forward to getting to know each of you; as well as praying for and with you. Take care and be blessed.

Hi everybody,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a new pastor's wife of Cavary Road in the beautiful city of Clearwater Florida. We are presently using an office suite, donated by a kind businessman, for our church. We would love to meet you if you come to our area. We want to show the love of Jesus to this lost and dying world. People need the Lord anywhere and everywhere.

I have two prayer requests. One for little Jessica Lundsford. She is a precious church going young lady who loves her church, pastor and youth group. Praiy for her church, Faith Baptist Church. Pray for her pastor, youth director and friends there as they are broken-hearted over her kidnapping. She had even gone to church the night she was taken. Let's bring her home through our world-wide prayers! Let's defeat the power of satan over this situation. Let's show who really is the boss in this tragic event. OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!

The last prayer request is for the Terri Shiavo family. They live in our city.As you have seen the news her husband wants to kill her while her family wants only to have their precious daughter come home with them. They have a born again lawyer who is working day and night to find arguments to bring in front of the judge so the death clock can stop ticking before March 18th. The judge says there will no more time but this can change through prayers. We met the Schlinders and they are so weary and are completely depending on the work of their lawyer and the prayers from us. Terri's husband has been unfaithful to his wife for many years. Why should he have any rights in this matter? Let's show him who is the real judge by defeating him in this tragic situation.
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE FINAL JUDGE AND MICHAEL WILL HAVE TO BOW TO HIM ONE DAY SOON!!!!

I'm saved and reborn. I'm 48 yrs. old and have worked to serve God most of my life. In the "helps" ministry He's had me in, I've spent all that time helping people in various ways, including most of those years reading, studying and researching God's Word and related subjects.

My greatest interest is talking about God's Word in relation to daily and world things going on. (Sorry if go too long, it's habit from years of teaching and preaching in so many settings).

My closest friends gave me this nickname from 3 main aspects of my life, having been in the military, saved and reborn, plus particular areas of ministry God had me dealing with in the past.

'Nough said for now. Thank you and God Bless!!

Posted by: Christian Commando

Calvarylady: I am just as fresh a poster here as you, but have heard about both situations and assure you they will be in my prayers. Also, congradulations on the Pastorate, welcome to the battle field. Praise God Christ won the fight of death by sin, but we still have daily battles with trials and temptations to face otherwise. And thank you Pastor Jerry for your love and support for us also. I'd like to discuss a future tithe set up with you at some point. Take care both of you and God Bless you and yours!!

-Hello All
I am known as Miame. I am a 31 year old single mother to one wonderful little boy Andrew. I am from New Brunswick, New Jersey where I first accepted Christ at the age 10. But it was not all that easy to stay with Christ as age 15, 16, 17 ya know headstrong teenager years came. I turned away. From a single parent home and all the tragic stuff that comes with being a fatherless, overweight girl, who was shy but funny when making jokes of myself. I always knew Christ was near. Went from homeless to mom owning her very first and only home. Went from 300 plus pounds to half of that without drugs or surgery. Never had true love until now at 31. Never went to college but made more money then some people I knew who earned a four year degree. HOW? GOD. HOW my talents. I worked as a EKG Technician after attending school for 6 months. I was not very happy in school growing up I did not want to go back. I worked as a teacher's aide for 10 or so years. I work with the homeless, with the elderly so I found my calling. It is serving. I will do it for free if I could. I love nothing more then to be needed. I don't need award for my serving heart. Mission's In Actions is my business name. NON PROFIT company that will be in the serving arena. We are working on it now and have been for years. It will be a place for anyone and eveyone who needs help. We will work with and sponser other companies to share services for free to people in need. We will be a company that use our talents to help others. Not for profit for self or gain for man ... BUT GLORY FOR THE LORD. FOR ALL HE HAS BEEN AND STILL IS FOR ME AND YOU. Everything from A- to- Z (Art, exercise cooking, cleaning, medical, teaching, parent classes, teen classes, bullies)
Our mission is to serve the world with our actions, not our words!

Hi gang,I found this site doing some research on [Ashley Smith] the hero in Atlanta.I just can not believe the news these days. In all my 47 yrs. of life, I have never seen a need for prayer more than right now.The world is a mess. I am the father of four and grand-father to five. I am worried about their future. It seems that faith is the only thing that will get us through all this. I live in south- west Ohio, it seems like there is a murder around here every day.It is my opinion that we also need some *action* plus prayer to try to help our country, and families out of some of these problems.I am trying to join action groups that contact the [right ]people in Washington,DC. Prayers plus action is the only way I think that we can get the message to Congress, the President,etc.,etc. God Bless all of you and yours...GM

Hello and greetings I am snowfox, an older student who is going for a Family and Consumer Science Degree with a family service option. My goal has always been as a helper, now I am going to have the piece of paper to hopefully do more for a hurting society. I believe that we are now at a crossroad with the Pope passing on to heaven and dear Terri resting in the arms of Jesus. We need to get closer and tie our prayers and thoughts together to prepare for the next coming of Jesus. He is so close now. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone on this board and perhaps one day we can join hands in prayer for this great nation. We need prayer and hope everyday and I so glad to have found this board.....Peace

Hi,
I am being restored in God's Grace as we speak. I love to serve the Lord, and Praise him. Praying is something I love to do. I believe that God answers prayers,He has answer mine plenty of time. I love to read about the Lord and how to get closer to him. He is the Source of my life. I love the Lord for who he is and not for what he can do. Being Restored is a process that takes time. I have 4 teenage sons; 13,15,16,18.I am a Single Mom. I work a full-time job, trying to provide for my family. Pray for my strenght as I endure DEPRESSION,ANGER, AND PANIC ATTACKS!
