Hi,

My mother-in-law will move in with us tomorrow instead of hospice. She was certified for hospice under "failure to thrive." We will have some help here, but as much as I love her, I'm anxious about this situation. My own mother passed from dementia last year, and I found it hard just trimming her nails from all the food caked in there. Please pray I can be more accepting and compassionate and deal with diaper changing and all that. My husband is good-hearted but doesn't think of the real-life details involved and gets annoyed when I bring them up. He seems assured that we can work this around our schedules and our 11 year old, but I'm not feeling overly enthused today about this. Thank you.

FATHER GOD,I PRAY FOR MERCYDEPENDENT,THAT YOU WILL TOUCH HER HEART,HER HANDS,HER SPIRIT AND HER STRENGTH AND GIVE HER THE ABILITY,THE WISDOM,KNOWLEDGE AND THE UNDERSTANDING TO DO WHAT SHE HAS TO DO FOR HER MOTHER-IN-LAW.IT IS MORE THAN A NOTION TO TAKE ON THIS KIND OF RESPONSIBILITY AND TO OTHERS WHO HAVE NEVER DONE IT,IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT IS HARD.LORD GIVE HER EVERYTHING SHE NEEDS AND ALSO GIVE HER HUSBAND COMPASSION NOT ONLY FOR HIS MOTHER,BUT FOR HIS WIFE TOO.WE PUT IT ALL IN YOUR HANDS LORD BECAUSE WE KNOW YOU CAN DO GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS THROUGH US YOUR CHILDREN AND WE GIVE YOU ALL THE GLORY AND HONOR IN JESUS NAME. amen and amen bjc

Father, I lift mercydependent up before Your throne of mercy. Father, I pray for You to quiet the storms in her mind. Let her know that despite what the outside situation may look like, You are firmly in control. Bless her with strength and peace to care for her mother-in-law. Continue to place people in this families life that will be able to help care for this mom-in-law to help ease the burden some. Bless them all, I pray. Amen
