Signature Links -- What's Up?

StarChilde says I can paste an address link in for my signature. But when the box pops up, there is no way to paste it in, as the "edit" option is covered by the box! Then, if I just paste the address in to the big gray area where we type, the link doesn't work. I can paste a link into a post, and it will open (I just copy the address off the thread, then paste it in where I want it). Why won't this work in signature? When I type the urls into the box that pops up, is it the entire thread address, the one that says "showthread...php" etc.? Or is it the shortened version that comes up in a thread where I use one? Sorry, to be a bother, but I want to figure this thing out! (Also, tried typing the urls into the box, but that didn't work, either. My link would not open, received that message about "If you followed a valid link....")

Don't know why my last try never worked. Hang with me, people and Lord, I'll get this site TOTALLY figured out yet. Now, Lord, if I can just figure out how to get my picutres into posts....

I used the longer address that is at the top of the thread, up where it says "Address" in bold black on my computer. Just type that in exactly as it appears in the "urls" box. I canceled the first box, where I could type what the link refers to, because I just typed the "Need a Fanancial Breakthrough???" in the gray area where we type, so I could bold and color and size it. You click on the little globe symbol with the chain links. When the box pops up, you put in whatever you want to say, like: "Join our prayer vigil for marriages." Then you hit "enter." Once that is entered, the new box comes up. (May have to click on globe again, to get new box up.) In the second box, you type in the urls (page address), then hit "enter" again. Anyway, hope my info helps someone else.
And, thanks, StarChilde! You were right. Maybe I mistyped address on the other attempt, where I tried to link to Holy Spirit thread. Now, I can try that again.
