First I want to thank everyone for thier prayers and for God giving me peace. I am still struggling a bit as tomorrow is court and I have agreed not to go so that the restraining order will be dropped against my husband. I have prayed about this and still am unsure of this decision. I am trying to settle in my heart the conflict of the possible consequences of this decision. Even with prayer I still find myself very distrustful of my husband and the situation. Please pray for my husband, that he will be compelled to finally be honest not just with me but with himself and that he may be agreeable finally to getting treatment for his serious addiction issues. I also ask for pray for peace for me, I have no support system here and I feel very alone in my fight for my marriage and for my own emotional/spiritual health.

You do know that you can still go to court and the order could still be dropped, right?
Do keep yourself safe. It is fine in my opinion to keep a restraining order up until the spouse has demonstrated sobriety and there is no fear at all of harm.
This would not mean you are giving up on your marriage. You might be keeping yourself safe and when your husband has worked through what makes him a danger to you, you would be waiting for him. In the meantime you would do what is the most important thing: praying and working on your own relationship with your Redeemer.

Dear Jesus,
I lift up this family to you right now Lord. I plead the blood of Jesus. I thank you that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper. I ask that you will be her husband while her husband is away. I pray you willl move in this man right now. I pray that you hedge his way up with thorns and fire al around him so he can cry out to you. I pray that you will send godly men into is life today. I thank you that you will give her strength to stand. I thank you that you will never leave her or forsake her. I pray you will send a support group to herto stand on your word Lord. Jesus what the enemy meant for harm use for your glory. I ask that you will give her peace that passes all understanding today. I thank you that you have not given her a spirit of fear but one of power, love and a sound mind. Holy Spirit move in this family today. Lord with you nothing is impossible, so I thank you for what you are about to do in this family.
