It keeps getting worse...

By some miracle I stumbled upon this site last week. It seemed to be just what I needed. I had posted a request for prayers for my husband Bill and I as we are having some financial difficulties and we just can't seem to get ahead of things. As I sat here reading the wonderful prayer responses that I received I felt such a warm feeling and that things were going to get brighter. I have never known of a stranger to pray for me and my family and it was such a glorious feeling. It lifted my spirits and I praised the Lord. I found out last night that my husband has to work out of town for about 2 months-only coming home on the weekends. This will put another financial burden on us and I am also fighting with Rheumatoid Arthritis and I know the additional stress will affect me. Please continue to pray for my family and that God will bless us and keep my husband safe while he is away from me. Thank you.

Father, I pray for You to continue to be with this family in each area of their life. Be with the husband as he goes to work for 2 months out of town. May he be safe. Be with the wife as she is dealing with her health issues. Let her be surrounded with Your unfailing peace during this time. Continue to open doors to meet all needs for this family, I pray. Amen

Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift mak0395 up to you. Father you know this family's situation already, I am praying for relief of the stress and financial burden that this family is under. Remove all worry for this individual and bless her to know to lay all of that worry on you. The arthiritis she is experiencing, send your healing power so that she will not suffer with this ailment. Father you are Jehovah Jireh-our provider. Father take care of all this family's needs.

Make sure you are tithing- my husband I used to be in a financial mess- checks would bounce sometimes- it was awful. But we started to tithe faithfully and we've been MORE than blessed ever since. Read Malachi 3:8-12...........I can say God has poured the blessings on us more than we could have imagined because we obeyed His Word. He'll be faithful- we have to do the same. God bless you!!

mak0395, just like the above poster stated, tithing is crucial because that gets God involved in your finances and you're placing Him FIRST. You might want to check out: http://kcm*****/studycenter/finances/. Plus there are thousands of suggestions on the internet on how to cut expenses, priorities, etc. Search: frugal. Here's a website that you might be interested in:
http://www.stretcher.com/menu/topic.htm. Also, do you know where your money is going? That's one of the first steps is raising your awareness where every penny is going. Every item needs to be looked at. Can satellites, cell phones, magazines, etc be eliminated? We need to spend time and energy being better educated in the area of finances just like our spiritual growth. Also, in our local Bible study classes, we've been looking at the power of our words, i.e. "...additional stress will affect me." We've all done this - just trying to raise awareness of what we speak. I'm trying to replace it with speaking God's Word. It is a process. It can be so hard to keep the faith in difficult situations but that's where we are. Faith is knowing that He is the answer. He gives us insight, wisdom, and guidance. Plus it's difficult to be patient. We don't get in these situations overnight so we have to be patient as things are worked out. We'll continue to pray.
