Pray for my mom

Dear Friends,

I just got off of the phone with my mom and she was very upset. She had hired a man to do some work for her house and the man shafted her. She wanted him to replace some concrete slabs in front of her house and he even started the work. He ripped up the old sidewalk and tied it off so that the concrete could be poured....then decided today that he just wasn't going to finished the job. My mom has already paid him, bought materials (because he was also going to put poles on her front porch), etc. My mom is a Christian woman who works hard and is very generous with her time, money and love. She would do anything for anyone; and she is the reason that I am so religious as I was blessed to be raised in a good household and I am just so hurt for my mom.

So, I came back online to get all of my friends and fellow prayer warriors to pray with me. Lift her up. God will work all of this out for His glory. I have no doubt in that, for we serve a Live God who is answering prayers!!


Precious Lord, I love to come before Your precious throne of mercy and grace for I know that You answer the prayers of the righteous. Abba, my mom was taken advantage of today and my heart breaks for her, Your child. Father, it is my most urgent and earnest plea that Your will be done in all of this, that even this setback can be magnified for Your glory. Bring someone who is a Christian that will be able to finish her work on the house and that will not charge a lot as she has already shelled out a lot to this other gentlemen. Surround her mind with peace, cradle her in Your arms as You turn this situation around for Your good. I praise You and I thank you for the wonderful miracle that will come out of this for my mom. Amen

Thank you Jesus. I ask in agreement for everything to work out for good. Supply every need and let this contractor fulfill his obligations in Jesus name, amen and amen.

Did she report him to the BBB?

Lara, thanks for your prayers. Last night when I talked with mom again, I told her she should sue since she has a contract....but mom, being mom said judgment belongs to God and God will handle it. ( she is right, of course) Anyway, thanks for the prayers....love ya, sis
