Robin has come home but all is not well yet

Yes,it's true Robin has come home but not without baggage.Seems while she was away our former youth pastor stepped in to comfort her & one thing led to another & blah,blah,blah.You all know what I mean....yes she had an affair which I have totally forgiven both of them for but we need your prayers now more than ever.We have a very long road ahead of us.I know she is torn between both of us but I need prayer to keep her heart with me.I know God can do it.He led her home.Now we need to lead her back to Him & to restore my marriage completely.I thank you all for the prayers & encouragement.This has been the hardest thing I've ever been through.I can't stop crying....the hurt goes beyond words but I know God will carry me.My freinds, we need all of you now more than ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful news! I'm so thankful for this breakthrough. You are doing just as Jesus would in forgiving them both. I know the hurt you speak of first hand. You're also right in knowing that the healing will take time and being understanding of the fact that at this moment, she is torn between the two of you.
Lord, I thank you for this wonderful report. Thank you for working in this couple and bring Robin home. I thank you that you have heard all of our prayers on their behalf and have answered favorably. I ask that you continue to walk closely with Rob and Robin. Lord, bind them together as a threefold cord that's not easily broken. I ask that you heal the hurt and broken hearts and bind the enemy from moving and working. In the name of Jesus, I pray a hedge of protection around this couple and pray that you would set them on a course of complete and total restoration. Amen.

Rob, I'm so happy for you that she's come home. I'm so sorry about the news she had for you, but wow -- you are an awesome husband and human being for keeping your eyes on Jesus, for your devotion to your marriage and vows and for hanging in there and getting right to the work of forgiveness. Awesome.
Lord God,
Oh how we praise you for the miracles you are working in this family. Oh the enemy thought he'd rip them all to shreds but you had another plan, hallelujah!!!! Thank you Lord for working in Robin's heart, for bringing her home. Thank you Lord. Lord, we ask for your protection over this restoration, in the name of Jesus. Help Robin to completely repent of her sin to you, and break the cords of her sin Lord and set her free. Blot out all thoughts of the other man. Increase and strengthen her memories of her precious husband, her feelings for him, her love and devotion for him. Help her to see what a precious gift you've given her in healing him, in making him strong enough to wait for her. Help her to rejoice in the fact that her family is still here for her. Let her feel that things are finally *right*. Cut all ties between her and the other man, Lord God.
In all things Lord, help them both to put you first. Help them to have time to spend with you, to look to you, to be in your word. Help them to treat their marriage as the precious gift that it is, and to not drop back into old habits.
Lord, I bring the youth pastor before you. Oh Lord, the enemy tried to take another one down in this whole situation. I don't know much of anything about him, but Lord, I pray for your redemptive power to come in there and bring this man to complete repentance and renewal in you. I pray his ministry will be bound to your will in the name of Jesus. I pray you will break any ties he feels towards Robin and that he will not try to contact her, or have anything to do with her. Lead him another way, Lord God and help him to listen to you.
Lord, build up Rob. Give him strength. Comfort every tear. Remind him continually who his true enemy is. Help him to know in every fiber of his being that YOU chose him for Robin, and that no one else holds the unique and special place in her life that you have given him. Help him to feel the mantle of the position you have given him. Help him to feel your pleasure at his obedience to you. Help him to forgive. Help him to feel joy and love. Blot out any thoughts in him of the other man. Increase and strengthen his sense of security, joy, love, happiness. Bless his every step as the head of this family. Bless his every step as husband and father, provider and especially spiritual leader. Imbue him with the qualities he needs for the different moments that come up with restoration. Give him strength. Help him to feel you just fillllllllinnnnggggggg him up with your strength, healing, and peace right now in the name of Jesus.
Thank you Lord. Thank you for your handiwork here. Thank you that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

I may have spoken too soon.It seems she hasn't totally made up her mind about coming home to stay.Friends PLEASE pray that she will commit to making this marriage work & cut off all contact with the other man.We are having a meeting tonight with some friends to try & work this out.Please pray that God puts it on her heart to stay.I need all of you ASAP & thanks for everything.

Remeber that God does not leave anything undone...His work is not finished yet... Keep the faith and keep drawing closer to Him....God has brought her home for a reason trust in Him..... Rest in His arms and give Him your pain... Love your wife as you do and look at her through God's eyes and not through the pain that you have been through...Show her that you have forgiven her and that you love her unconditionaly.... Keep up the faith and believe that God is still working in your relationship. May His will be done!

Rob -- I've heard of this before in other situations too. (The waffling back and forth as the cords to their sin are still binding them.) Don't despair! God is on the case! 
Lord God,
I continue to lift up this marriage before you. Oh Lord, thank you for all you are doing! Praise you Lord for your goodness! Lift up my brother's head, help him to keep his eyes steadfast upon you, and not look at the waves around him. Fill him up with your love, security, radiance, and calm. May he glow with your love and the security that all will be well in you. for it will. Thank you Lord that you have them in the palm of your hand. Remind him of how far they've come, so he will have that comfort to see your works, to remember them and praise you knowing the God of the Universe is restoring and healing this marriage and family. Thank you Lord!
Be present in this meeting tonight Lord. Guard the tongues and hearts of all involved. I bind their wills to the will of Christ and ask that your will and your will alone will be done. Prepare Robin for the meeting. Help her to not be defensive or frightened. Help her to step back and see the "big picture", the plan the enemy has had to destroy her entire family during this year of grief and trouble. Help her to stand up out of the pit of sin and her grief and take your hand and climb out of those troubles permanently! Cut the cords of her sin that have tied her Lord God. Cut them, and set her free! Lord, show the OM what he has done and bring repentance and conviction to him! Speak to him, give him ears to hear!
Thank you Lord for these friends who are involved and wish to be a part of this healing. Prepare them Lord so they will use the right words and not scare Robin away. Lord, give them your words, your heart, your wisdom about the situation.

Again,many thanks to all of you.I just don't think I have the strength anymore.I'll love her until my dying breath but what good is it when she doesn't love me anymore? I'm feeling so hopeless & empty.I'm trying to keep my faith but maybe God is trying to tell me to let her go.I really don't know.Help me please.

Rob, it is so bittersweet..but God will finish what He started. Her back and forth just confirms this is not a flesh-and-blood battle..your enemy is working overtime, since she is trying to come home. Don't give in to his work. God is restoring your marriage-keep your eyes on what you cannot see-God's word. Do as Jesus did-love and forgive. Seek Robin's best, just as Jesus seeks your best. God will not put asunder the marriage He ordained..hang on !
FAther please hold Rob in your arms, comfort and heal him. Take away his hurt and pain. Clear his mind, so he can once again hear your truth. I pray the blood of Jesus upon this marriage. Thank you for this restoration.

Rob,
She does know that she loves you, but at this moment, Robin can't see it. Please don't be broken, no mater how hopeless or impossible it seems, God will triumph.
Father,
You have done so much work in the lives of Rob and Robin and for this we thank you. Father we know that you don’t leave anything incomplete, so Father I ask that Rob is given the strength to continue to stand for his marriage until your work is done. Father please comfort Rob and let him rejoice in the total faith that you are working in his situation. Please give Robin the clarity too see who it is that she should be with. Please push any desire for anyone other than her God given Husband out of her mind.
Father I thank you for the forgiveness that Rob has in his heart for Robin, he is truly following the example of our Lord Jesus. Father, may he continue in this faith and continue to stand by your word.
I thank you Father for hearing these words.

Thanks again to everyone.This is really hard & she is having her ups & downs.I see things that set her off like movie previews that they were supposed to go this weekend.It's a tough battle but I know God will help me overcome.We just need all of your prayers.First & foremost for Robin to find God again,our marriage & for her to lose her feelings for the other man.I have to believe that God would not have sent her home if he wasn't going to restore our marriage.Please keep praying everyone & again I thank & love you all from the bottom of my heart.
