Seperated-cheating husband

This is Kimberly again, I recently found out that Robert has been with this OW, this weekend he is away with her out of town. He told me that he was not going to do anything with her, that he just needed to get away. I do not know what to beleive. Please pray for the LORD to convict Robert and make him face himself and what he has done and is doing that it is wrong and he is committing the sin adultery. Please pray for this OW to removed from his life and the scales to be taken from his eyes so he may see the truth. I am putting my faith and trust in the LORD that he is working on Robert everyday, even though right now it is very hard. Please pray for Robert to confess and please pray for me to learn how to forgive. Pray for the restoration of our marriage.

Father God,

I lift up this marriage before you. Oh Lord, I thank you that you are God and you hear and answer our prayers. Thank you Lord for that. In confidence I come before you and ask for the healing and restoration of this marriage. Lord, come and indwell this situation, purifying hearts, opening eyes and ears to your will for them. May your kingdom come and reign in this marriage, in this home and may it be pleasing unto you.

Lord, convict this husband of his sin. Help him to be able to hear you. Meet him and show him your hope right behind the conviction, all of your help and hope that is right there, ready to restore him to purity in you, ready to wipe him clean and set him up upon the rock of Jesus. Lord, give the wife of his youth favor in his eyes, and may the OW become bitter as wormwood, with a tongue sharp as a double-edged sword. Help him to run from this sin and destruction, to see that "needing to get away" is really running away from you and the beautiful path you have appointed for him. Help him Lord, help him.

And comfort Kimberly during this weekend. Help her to keep her eyes on you, to feel your peace and presence, to know that you are her God and you will not leave her nor forsake her. Lord, use this time for her to draw so near to you, to look into your face, to learn of your love for her in a new and deeper way, and to see anything you wish to lovingly change in her, anything you wish to heal to move to grow. Speak to her from your word, causing the words to leap off the page with inspiration, instruction, and truth.

Oh Lord, we anticipate wonderful things in this situation as we know we have laid it before you, the Great Healer, the God who Reconciles, the One who Created Marriage.

Thank you Lord, thank you!
