Prayer for Friends and Enemies

Please pray for me tonight...and all this week. I am starting teacher inservice tomorrow and will be working closely with someone who was my best friend but who now wants nothing to do with me. We are both christians...she is the one who led me to Christ! Please pray that God would fill us with all good things...and help us act out of those, rather than the hatred, pride, and lies that have filled us in the past.

For friendship and fellowship between us--peace instead of this silent strangeness between us. I know only God can heal this. Please pray that we both will be listening to him and following his direction.

Please also pray for my body language and facial expressions. Seeing her...hearing about her...leaves me feeling like I've been kicked in the chest. This has been going on for 9 months now and though some of it has healed, this physical pain has not. I don't want to react to someone mentioning her...and cause them to think wrongly of her. To imagine things about her personality. To start rumors. I know that can happen, though, so I pray that God guards not only what comes into me, for my sake...but what goes out, for her sake.

Please pray as you feel led. I trust God with this. I only want to be sure it is covered with prayer before I go in.
