Pray for my kids

I am a 7th grade teacher, about to start my third year. Please pray for my classes. For the kids who will be in them...who I have not met yet, but who will be a BIG part of my life this year. Pray that I would deal with them and teach them with God's wisdom. Pray that I can share God's love with them even in a public school...for Jesus to be a member of my classroom. To touch those who might not know love anywhere else.

God I pray that you grant Damascus Girl the wisdom, compassion and strength she will need to succeed this year with her class. I pray that she will be a strong positive influence in their lives and that they learn many things from her.

I know how you feel Damascus Girl I am a school psychologist working at a special education school for autistic and mentally retarded children. Although I love my job it is difficult as I have to come up with solutions to behavioral and learning difficulties of these children. I just got the job last year after looking for a school psych job for 6 years. I prayed everyday that God would get me through the year and he did. I know he will help you as well. Good Luck

I will be praying for you as well! It takes a special kind of person to be called to your area of education Of course, I hear the same thing sometimes. God specially calls people to many things. lol

God please help this teacher give her best to the children she is teaching this year. Please give her strenght, your wisdom and patince to go through the year and take care of the kids. Please be with her and the children in her classroom every moment and don't let any harm happen to them. Please listen to her and hear her, because she's asking for your help and guidance. AMEN

Damascus Girl - I was so touched by your request for prayer. I often admire teachers for all they give to their students. It is not just about getting information from a book to a child. It involves so much more that I often wonder how teachers do it. I work as a volunteer in my childrens school so I just get a glimpse of all that is involved. Your students are lucky to have you for a teacher. I hope my children would have a teacher as caring this year.

Dear God - Please bless Damascus Girl as she begins another year of teaching. Please grant her your wisdom and love as she works with these impressionable young people. I pray that even in the public school system that these children can know God's love and the love of Jesus as they learn all they need to know to grow into healthy, productive adults. Amen

I will totally pray for you! There's not enough of you good, Christian teachers out there who want so desperately to be a light to their students - public or private school!!

Unfortunately, out of our own 5 kids with all separate classes and teachers, I know of only ONE teacher in the bunch who even professes to be a Chrsitian. Even then, he does not use his witness as he probably could. I know that some schools are really all uppity about Christian teachers, too, so that makes things harder for you guys sometimes.

Thank you for being one of those who will stand firm and let nothing move you despite all of that... simply because it is right in the eyes of the Lord! Thank you for serving Him and not the faculty!!
