If it's not resolved, a root of bitterness can very well spring up. Even if she doesnt ask forgiveness, you have to forgive her according to God's word. And that is your responsiblity to the Lord. If she doesn't respond, then its her responsibility towards God. You just take care that YOU can look the Lord in His eyes.... I read this verse this evening funnily enough.... I know that gossip can lead to no good but I was told that the person who I thought I was my friend has been talking and saying mean things about me behind my back. I do not how I should handle this situation. Pray that I will know what to do and what to say. I do not want to hurt her but I do not think I should be a door mat eather.
