No one can prove to you the existence of God, just as no one can prove to you that Americans walked on the moon. But you still might be able to be certain of His existence:
Are you just idly curious? Then perhaps you'll never know. But if you feel you must know to fill a void in your life, it’s easy. Go into a church, kneel down, assume that God exists and can hear you, talk to him about your life and troubles, then very sincerely ask him if he indeed exists. Wait for an answer. If you are fortunate, he will let you know. Not with actual words, but unmistakable nonetheless.
Why in a church? Why kneel down? It’s just a sign of respect. Just in case. And it shows your sincerity.
God was kind enough to indicate His existence to your editor in a much more direct way. The following is a true account, and I remember it like it was only yesterday:
"I can absolutely guarantee that there is
a heaven, and that my Grandpa is there.
Here’s why:
When I was a boy, my mother gave piano lessons to augment our small income. Our piano was an old upright that was so decrepit that it couldn’t be tuned, and had several keys that didn’t play at all. We couldn’t afford a better one.
My grandfather, whose name was Joseph Weber, came to spend the last few months of his life with us. I don’t know what he was suffering from, but he was very ill and couldn’t get up from his bed. He would hear Mother talk about how difficult it was to teach on our old piano. Just before he died, he told her that when he got to heaven, the first thing he would do would be to make sure she got a new piano. Mom told him that she had been saving for years, and that all she was able to put aside was $50.00, not nearly enough even then. “Don’t worry, Ruthie,” he said, “ I’ll make sure you get one. I’ll send it right down from heaven.”

A few days after Grandpa died, Mother got a call from someone who was moving out of our small town. It seems that they had a nice grand piano, almost new, and they had seldom used it and did not want to move it. They had heard that she was a piano teacher, and they wanted to know if she would like to purchase it for $50.00.
Only after it was all set up in our living room, and Mom sat down to play it for the first time, did she notice the brand name of the piano, written in big gold letters above the keyboard. It was a little known maker, the only one of that make that I have ever seen. Mother sat motionless, staring, before bursting into tears.
It was a Weber.
So that is how I know that my Grandpa is in heaven. And that is why I returned to God after a long absence." .

What a blessing to hear the testimony of others and their experiences. I know there is a God, for there is no other explanation to the countless times He has delivered me from many things, things that cause people to die. Accidents where I should have died, I cried out in the last second and came out unscathed and not to mention the grevious pit of sin and unbelief he so graciously brought me out of. I thank Him for I love Him because He first Loved me and He sought me out when my mind was so far away from Him. What sweet love and compassion to grant such an opportunity to experience such a heavenly existence right here and right now. To take a beggar and set him in heavenly places with Himself. The Great King Who only has Immortality Dwelling in the Light. Ohhhh What Love, What Grace, What compassion. I truly am Astounded and my heart truly is overwhelmed in Him and His sweet Mercy. Looking back on my life, I wonder how I made it without him and the only explanation is His Mercy kept me. When I look on the lost my heart now cries out for them for I know when they find what I have found they will have a smile on their face as I do and their life will never be the same. Yes there is a God and He is Real it just takes a small step of simple faith and He will show Himself strong in anyones life for He does not honor the persons of men, But the Rich and the Poor meet together and the LORD is the maker of them all.......All Glory To Almighty God Adoni and His Son Jesus Christ the Savior of the World..

That is a very meaningful story. But I personally think there is all kinds of evidences for God!
There is fulfilled prophecy in the Bible, for one thing. Think of what the Lord told Moses, in Deuteronomy, would happen to the Israelites, how they would turn from Him in the future to other gods and be pursued, hated, dispersed throughout the world - but that they would never be completely destoryed. That is exactly what happened!
That is just one of many, many fulfilled prophecies in the Bible that only an omnipotent, omniscient God could cause to be fulfilled or know about.
There are so many scientists from so many field, microbiologists, botanists,
astronomers, etc. etc. who are writing wonderful books about the scientific evidence for an intelligent creator. (See www.answersingenesis.com and a website called Reasons to Believe). The buzz word in those circles is "intelligent design." The evidence is coming in, and it gets greater all the time, that our Lord is an awesome God, and that He exists, that He made all that we see, this world, so that we could exist here. And find Him here. It's not just wishful thinking. It's scientific verification. And sooo fun to learn about! Research and you will see, more and more, that the more you honestly ask, the more wonderful are the answers for proof of the existence of God.
