My runaway son and answered prayer

Friends,
My previous message,"Wisdom and Grace" asked for prayer for my fourteen year old son who was on runaway status. I posted the message late at night when I just couldn't sleep at all. I was discouraged and sitting on the couch, with the remote in my hand ready to escape into a late night movie when a thought( a prompting) popped into my head, actually it was two words--internet and prayer. I was not aware of the "Annointed" web site, a place where we can share our burdens with other believers. I went to the computer and did a search on Prayer and this website was among the first listings. I posted my request. Many thanks to those of you who read it and were moved to prayer. The NEXT morning my son called. He was scared and tired of living on the street. He is safe now and I am following up on treatment for him---He was sexually exploited. We are now involved in a very scary circle of interviews and police reports. He is pressing charges on the men who violated him and we are moving forward, with great pain. I am still seeking placement for him at the Boy's Ranch I mentioned in my last posting, so please continue to pray that the last half of the pledged support comes in soon. I am angry and very, very, sad that my son's life has been so tragic. Sometimes, though I realize that we only see God's perfect will and grace in our darkest moments. Your prayers and thoughts are eternally appreciated. God is good and thankfully he is also very, very, rich in many ways. I believe that HE will provide the care needed for my son and that he will be glorified through this tragedy.

God is good. His ways are such that we don't always understand, but I pray for you and your son. Good will come of it. Welcome to this loving place.
