what to feel towards muslims (important)

I just want to take a time out here and be perfectly honest. Yes, the muslims have killed some people and that is not right in any regard. However, I've noticed that most people on this board seem to be be focused on revealing them for being a callous band of murderers, as opposed to focusing on how we could reveal the truth to them about Jesus Christ. Exposing muslims to Americans who are already aware of their acts is a waste of time as it simply builds our hate in return for them. This solves nothing, in fact it is what satan wants us to do. Instead of expressing to one another the sins of the Muslims, let us pray to our Father in Heaven that the truth and life Christ Jesus may be revealed to their lost souls. This is the only way it will ever end.

I agree with you for the most part but, how is it that a Christian seems to be able to live in peace, side by side with a Muslim but the same can't be said the other way around? Muslims seem to have a sence of history that we in the West don't have. They seem to continually hold us responsible for the Crusades in the Holy Land. Shameful as they were, I didn't do it. I'm sorry for the methods and the motives of the Crusaders, but I didn't do it and I can't change history. I'm sorry for the abuse and the genocide of the Native Americans at the hands of the early settlers but, again, I didn't do it. Grace and mercy are all I have to go forward with. God grant it to me and to them, in Jesus Name I pray!

I am afraid that if you look deliveryman than you will find they are not peaceful because their Koran tells them to kill christians and anyone who will not bow to allah. Our Bible tells us to love. This is why we can live in peace with them but they can't live in peace with us. You should check out Jerry's teaching on it he used verses straight from Koran to explain it all.

I totally agree with Holstein, and yes Muslims have killed a lot of people because their Koran commands them to, but we are Christians and Jesus calls us to love them. I have a Palestinian friend who is Muslim, I understand the hatred he has for Christians and especially Jews, but I will still show him love and hopefully through the seeds that God plants in him through me, Jesus will be revealed to him. We must not be consumed with anger and hatred for them, but must show them love. I am not American, and I do understand how most Americans feel about Muslims because of their acts, but Satan is definately going to and is using this situation to his advantage. Let us be filled with peace and love from Jesus, and try spread the gospel to our lost Muslim brothers and sisters.

I agree that we should show love toward Moslems. "Do good to those that spitefully abuse you."

However, I think there is a much deeper issue to be concerned about than the Moslems. Instead of complaining about them and talking about how awful they are, we need to be getting our own house in order. They are a verrrry serious threat to us, but we might ask from whence our protection has come from so far, and from whence, or better yet, from Whom we can expect it.

In the Bible the Israelites periodically would get into the habit of killing their little babies, sacficing them, for example, into the red hot arms of statues of Ba'al. Presumably this was done for economic reasons - hoping for good crops and so on. The Lord who said, "Woe to the nation that sheds innocent blood" would then deliberately send pagan nations against Israel to punish
and discipline her.

These in days America we all know that fully formed, almost always normal (as testimony in the senate by an abortion doctor proved) babies are having their skulls pierced as they exit the womb, and well, you know the rest.

These are the lucky ones! Other babies, whom science has proven definitely have pain sensors fully functional, are ripped limb from limb alive and/or burned alive with saline solutions.

This goes on every day (except maaaybe not on Sundays), day after day year after year. Again, convenience, or economics, as with the Israelites, are generally the reasons. (This I know from personal experience from working in a pro life center.)

I believe it is a miracle of grace by our Heavenly Father that World War III didn't start a long time ago. Think about all the doomsday technology that is so easily available out there, how interdependent we have all become on things like airlines, oil (!) and so on, all the angry and/or mentally unstable people roaming about in the world.

The Lord is showing us mercy. For how long? The Bible says that the Lord is patient and long suffering but "when the cup of sin is full" - look out!
How much longer does the U.S.A. have before it is full?

To sum up, I think that instead of worrying about or fuming about the Moslems, who truuuuly are a grave dangerous to us and our way of life, that we need to remember these words given to Solomon for us all, and pray daily for our nation to repent and turn to our Heavenly Fater:

"If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face and pray, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14

2 things
The Koran doesn't command anyone to do anything like that.
Muslims can be Americans as well....it's a religion, not a nationality. Heck, only 20% of the world's Muslims reside in the Middle East.
